One of the worst games of the season and the Ref hasn't helped, Spurs totally clueless upfront today.

Pep has won the league in 2 different countries.
With the best clubs in two different countries.

Thanks, but I wouldn't say Fellaini likes or enjoys being the person to get all of the stick when he makes an error!

Lovely Liverpool move for the goal there.

The West Ham players were just chasing shadows.

Serious contenders for relegation now.

I wonder if they'd consider big Sam again ?

The one thing Pep needs to learn is that the best teams have consistency of selection
The one thing you seem to need to learn is that he's not only been in charge of the best team, he also did alright with them so he probably has a decent idea of what successful teams need.

I bet he is looking a better option as the days and weeks go by!

The owners will not be wanting to see this Stadium as a Championship one, so will try and do everything to make sure it is not just that.

I expect them to spend in January.

I would never have guessed that, thanks for that!

That sarcasm would work if it wasn't for all the previous posts.

Liverpool seem determined to get into losing positions from nowhere at the moment.

Karius is really struggling at the moment, it will be interesting to see whether he can turn it around before Klopp's patience runs out. Admittedly, he wasn't helped by some woeful defending for the second goal.

Liverpool need to do a deal with Man City for Hart, as it is hard to see Karius not being a liability for them.

Liverpool need to throw serious money at a WC keeper that can martial their defenders, they're leaking silly goals. They have everything going forwards and don't even have a world class striker. I always wish Arsenal could emulate their high pressing games and not encourage pressure backing off teams. Until Liverpool sort it the end result will be like their 13/14 campaign.

Not a good game for goalkeepers so far.

At least the weekend's goal average is being kept at a high level.

City and Liverpool both finding out what happens when you don't have a decent goalkeeper.

What players do you think they need. I dont think they need a striker as they have about ten already

In terms of West Ham, I think a defender or two could be who they target, as that could very well make the difference for them.

Liverpool have let in more goals than Man City. Someone needs to teach Klopp how to set up a defensive unit. Anyone on the forum able to do so?

You dont pay 50 million for a player who could develop into a world class defender (a world record fee) , you want the real deal.

Now they have very much the player not good enough for the Everton team, who looks lost at city and is making error after error. He even does this for England too with his calamity nature.

He is going backwards, the media give him all the plaudits, charitable forum members such as yourself argue he still has potential, but ignore his errors. Rather than progressing he has got worse. A liability.
I don't disagree with you that 50 million was a stupidly over-inflated price for him. But that wasn't John's fault was it? Perhaps his 'real' value is closer to 15 million, but that doesn't mean he's an awful footballer does it? That's all I'm trying to say really.... let's stop blaming the player for the fact that other people may have misjudged his abilities.

Agreed. People kid themselves with the "potential" line.
Sometimes it's a gamble that pays off. Rio Ferdinand is a good example.

Stones is a good footballer but ultimately a 22 year old defender. He'll make poor decisions as did the likes of Adams and Ferdinand at his age. Given his price tag and the club who paid it, every mistake will be highlighted. He's been told to play from the back so will take more risks. Decision-making is only honed through experience.
Exactly my thoughts too.
