Without the Allardyce twist, Palace vs Watford would have gone done as possibly the worst Boxing Day pick ever for Sky.

just bugs me a bit when I read things like that as it sounds like the rest of us shouldn't be on TV.

Early injury but Did the poor thing really need to be carried off on a stretcher?

What have Watford done to deserve these early injuries?

(Not carried out a properly intensive pre-match warm up, presumably.)

Palace deservedly take the lead

Was just wondering if there are another 'pair of managers' such as Pardew and Allardyce that have managed 3 of the same teams ?
(Palace, West Ham and Newcastle)

Oh my goodness me, what a terrible penalty from Benteke.

The most amazing thing about that incident, though, was not the appalling backpass which caused it but that Gomes got away scot free when his crude hack on Benteke should have earned him a red.

100 up for Troy Deeney!

That's how you take a penalty, Christian.

Had him in fantasy team as captain was concerned he was dropped too late to change but works out okay

I'd like to see where Benteke's eyes are focusing on that penalty, i'm sure he keeps his eyes on the keeper and not the ball as he strikes it , usually a player makes his mind up where to put it and keeps his eye on the ball as its struck.

Penatly was the only way we were going to score.

2 early injuries summed up our performance.

Really scrappy and disjointed at times.

Have to see the incidents again but another game where the ref was centre of attention.

Could Leicester really emulate Man City, and get relegated the year after winning a league title??

They don't look all that secure at the moment!

Rather satisfying that their attempt to turn the King Power Stadium into their equivalent of 'Being John Malkovich' had no effect at all.

Idiots. They are certainly in trouble. The question is, how ruthless is the chairman.

How big was the spade you used to dig out that one Batdude? I thought you might be talking about something from the fifties at least, not pre-war. But you're right, Leciester are definitely in the mix. Personally, I hope they avoid the drop. Hull and Swansea are definitely worse teams and Middlesbrough offer nowt in entertainment value.

In other news' Chelseas's win today was ominous. No Costa or Kante but still desptached Bournmouth with minimum fuss.

That moronic challenge by Robertson has decided this as a contest. Absolutely brainless.

Hey if you can think of another team that got relegated the year after winning the league be my guest, as that is the only one that I know of!
