At what point to Mazzari begin to feel a bit of pressure? I get that they're in 12th, which isn't bad for a team like Watford, but this isn't the first battering they've taken this season.

Still don't think you will be top 4 but I think you will have a high amount of points in fifth or sixth which is usually more than enough most seasons .

Think this is due to how low the standard is with the other 14 this season eg Everton 7th who are absolutely woeful
Who do you think will be the top four the current team that are there?

We still have the chance of Champions League football by winning the Europa League, it is always good to have multiple ways to reach your target!

Wow... Have no recollection of that Swindon result.... Didn't Liverpool beat Palace 9-0?

When the PL was the old First Division, Liverpool beat Crystal Palace away 9-1.
We've never lost to Liverpool 9-1.

Lost 9-0 at Anfield in 1989 and 6-1 at Selhurst in 1994. Maybe the latter is what you're thinking of?

Are Watford really a Premier League side? They don't seem to have any plan of attack whatsoever and their midfield are all shockingly bad in possession.
We aren't that great as it is but having so many injuries and out of form players only adds to the problem.

Sit down Mkhitaryan, Giroud has just outdone in you in the "Scorpion Kick" game.

I'm biased obviously but that was incredible.

To be trumped by Giroud too whose not renowned for subtlety. Sensational. And onside.

Ah well at least that will kill off the argument over whether Mkhitaryans should be goal of the season.

It wasn't just the finish that was better either, the build up leading up to it was just absolutely lovely.

Obviously as a biased Liverpool fan, I'd love for Henderson vs. Chelsea to be goal of the season. But I can't argue if it's given to Giroud, everything about this goal was beautiful. Even the way it hits the underside of the bar.

Unbelievable goal from Giroud. Even gets a bonus point for going in off the bar.

Just waiting for bats to come and explain why Mhkas was better.

Just saw it, and it was a very good goal, and it probably is better than Miki's, so I will give him that.

Do like the one going around that Lee Mason would have disallowed Girouds goal for a high foot.

Hopefully people will just ridicule his ramblings after greed got the better of him, really hope Palace get relegated now he has taken over

He was making similar uttering the other day about something, may have been about players going to China. Best thing is for him not to make such comments.

Apologies, will teach me to listen to him indoors when he's still recovering from a good Hogmany. 😊

I'm not so sure about you know. Swansea are having a torrid time. Sunderland have a history of coming back at the death of a season and have done it time and again but Swansea look devoid of all hope. It's looking like they could go down the same way Villa did,
Swansea are a Championship club in the Premier League.

I'm biased obviously but that was incredible.
Giroud says it was lucky

You want a club to be relegated just because you don't like the manager ?

Well Big Sam doesn't do relegation.

No chance

Big Sam will get them winning again. And will find the right players to buy in January

And him talking about the fixtures and it is all about money. He was only talking about why some teams are playing every two days and the rest playing every three with Tottenham and Chelsea playing on Wednesday having four days rest

Only Palace got less points than them in 2016, from the 17 teams that featured in the PL both this and last season.

Notts County fans may recall otherwise.

Well that is partly why Flores went..

Unfortunately having so many players injured (11 I think) and players out of form is hitting us hard now.

We need to get players fit or improve the squad generally this January otherwise we will be in trouble.

I was of course referring to the Premier League

In January 1997, Allardyce made his return to football as manager of struggling Division Two club Notts County.[64] He arrived too late to save them from relegation in 1996–97, and in his autobiography described how the players "would not respond" to his coaching methods as they went 18 games without a win and pressure mounted on Allardyce.[65] However he held on to his job, and led the club to promotion as champions of Division Three at the end of the 1997–98 season, built upon a three-man defence and a mid-season run of ten consecutive wins.[66] County broke several club and national records, winning the title by a 19-point margin and becoming the first post-war side to win promotion in March.[66]
