City showing why - when they're in the mood - they're far too good to finish outside the top 4. Now that sh1t is hitting the fan I expect them to get their act together and possibly even finish in the top 3

No, I would say that they are showing what they are, flat track bullies, they can beat the teams that they should beat, but in the matches against their rivals, they always seem to come up short, so this match is no surprise at all.
![]() LAWRO'S PREDICTION Bournemouth are safe and will have a real go at City, whose form has been horrendous on the road. The way City are playing at the moment, it is hard to see them improving on that too much at the Vitality Stadium. Prediction: 1-1 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/35902723 |

Of course they are, they have the best team in the league
Yes, they've been off form but lets be honest now they actually have to start giving a sh1t they're more likely to be an entirely new animal Do you mean the best starting eleven possible when everyone is fit? If so, that is wrong, as they don't even have the best keeper in Manchester, nevermind the rest of the league. Their centre-backs, are not up to much, (Kompany being as injury prone as he is, it does seem his time as a top level centre-back that you can rely upon is coming to a close), and their midfield blows hot and cold far too much. As for their strikers, well they have one outstanding one in Arguero, but apart from that, the cupboard is a bit spare. So, I would disagree that they have the best team in the league. |

For whatever reason they haven't looked motivated at all in the league this season. On form though gun to head I'd back them to beat anyone else in the league. |

Arsenal have too many soft players. When they're fit and firing Silva, Aguero, Toure, De Bruyne and Kompany would make any PL side. Lets not kid ourselves, no team in England has a solid defence |

This squad still won a title in 2014 though and all the marquee players from 2012 are still around.
For whatever reason they haven't looked motivated at all in the league this season. On form though gun to head I'd back them to beat anyone else in the league. ![]() Having a spine of good players with experience can be a great thing, but that spine is looking well past their best, Kompany is more injured than fit these days, Silva is still good, but does not contribute many goals, Yaya looks like he is playing in testimonial mode these days, and Aguero is the only good one still left from the title winning spine of 2012. Oh and it looks like they might be looking into replacing Hart, so that shows how much confidence that they have in him. There is plenty of work to be done, especially at the back, as their centre-backs are not good enough at the top level if they wish to win the big trophies on a regular basis. |

Who has a better first 11 than them? Possibly Chelsea but I don't think anyone else.

Lets not kid ourselves, no team in England has a solid defence Yaya is well past it, if he is still in their team next season, then that will benefit their opponents far more than it will benefit City. How you fit, Silva, Sterling, De Bruyne, and Aguero into the same starting eleven has yet to be established, as they have not all really been fit at the same time for us to find this out, so it will be interesting to see how Pep does, as someone there has to drop to bench, as you can't play all of them together, as you will be far to open on the counter. |

Those who said that this title race is over and is a two horse race are being proven wrong. It is over not by a long way. The days results are proving me right. Tottenham and leicester will start to feel the rest of the pack breathing down their necks. So will this PL title go to a team that has actually won it

That is the point though, "when they are fit", Kompany is hardly fit these days, and when he plays in back-to-back games, it is seen as a great achievement for him.

Lets not forget they topped a tough CL group and have won a trophy already this season. They have a higher ceiling than anyone else in the league for me |

It is a fair shout as City's away form (premier league) has been awful since September.

It is still firmly in the hands of Leicester, if they don't win it from here, then it will be a bigger fall from grace, then when it looked like Liverpool were going to win before "The Slip".

Massive goal for Newcastle, Mitrovic.
What a boost it would be if they can get out of a match they've been second best in with a point. Ignore that, Mbokani has made it 2-1 ![]() Thunderous finish but the Newcastle defence gave him all the time and space he needed to cut in from the left. |

I asked who has a better first 11 than them and you can't seem to answer. Just because they have weaknesses doesn't mean much, there is no truly great team in the PL at the moment, it's possibly at it's lowest ebb in terms of standard in the PL era

Another big goal at the bottom of the table, Dwight Gayle has equalised for Palace at West Ham.
Something of an onus on Sunderland to find a goal against West Brom in the final few minutes... |

We gifted them that title, with the draw at home to Everton and the defeat against Blackburn, two unforgivable results in that season.

Newcastle penalty for handball!
And Mitrovic scores it! Only just though, John Ruddy went the right way but it was too accurately placed into the corner. Norwich will only have themselves to blame if they don't get the win as they've missed a whole host of chances. |

3-2 Norwich!
Would you believe it! Twice Newcastle have conceded bare minutes after drawing level - and you always had the sense their abject defending made them perfectly capable of doing so. |
