Where is leicesterlad when you need him I assume he will say they have clinched a top 4 spot

Let's be brutally honest. Sunderland look what they are and have been for a while: a side clinging on to their premier league status and reliant on sides even worse than them to be relegated in their place. They would have no problem adjusting to life in the championship, where they would be nothing special.

It's got to the stage where it's almost irrelevant how Leicester play generally in the match itself because you know they'll create one clear scoring opportunity and have the quality to take it.

Saying that, you're always going to get punished if leave as few players back to deal with Vardy as Sunderland did on that occasion.

Not worth drawing attention to him

With Villa already down, You could have Sunderland & Newcastle joinng them. 3 Big sides leaving the premier league. Most thought Watford, Norwich & Bournemouth would go straight back down.

Amazing season.

The title race sky pushing would suggest there isn't one if Leicester win and Spurs don't

But with Allardyce as your boss you're guaranteed not being relegated aren't you?:

I can see them digging out a result at Norwich next week only one of the bottom three who could still escape I suppose.

All about next week for them

The title race is over. Leicester aren't going to implode to the level required so that Spurs can catch them. Even if they don't beat United and/or Chelsea, by then it'll be too late.

But that's fine. As much as I hate the fact they've won it, I'm more concerned about us finishing in the top 3.

Title race is well and truly over if Leicester see this out.

It's more a race for CL places, which is depressing because Arsenal and City should've done better.

Oh, what a miss!

That is extraordinary, the goal was gaping for Rodwell.

Oh Rodwell, how costly could that miss be for Sunderland's season?!

Unfortunately for Sunderland it is normal: they have almost the exact reverse of Leicester for goals scored and conceded. In other words, they are rubbish in attack and defence, which is why they are in the basement of the premier league.

What I've seen second half referee looks determined to give Sunderland absolutely nothing

I hope history is kind to Leicester and this title is isn't regarded as a fluke.

They are actually a really good side, first XI anyway.

What's fluke about it?

BBC News yesterday was preparing the narrative: it will be one of the great sporting achievements/surprises of all time.

First XI yes, I think only Ulloa's mum would be in the queue to sign him.

Should also say Ranieri will hopefully be given credit because he has been brilliant for the whole season, great tactics and substitutions..

Must admit that I thought he'd keep them up. However, as Rafa has also shown with Newcastle, you can't polish a turd.

I dunno people tend mock Greece's win in euro 2004.

But I think they're a better side than that.

And that is that.

Quite sobering for the Spurs players to realise they have to beat Man Utd just to pull back to 7 points behind.

There's a risk that some people will only think that Leicester won the league because all the customary big teams played below their best that season.

Spurs game is now a must win otherwise its over. 2 tough games for Leicester will be man u and Chelsea. The others are definite wins for Leicester.
