So few if anyone claims that Leicester are their second team. It is something that every football fan has shared in.
I couldn't name more than three Leicester players last season and now I am celebrating everytime they score. I don't plan to but can't help it.

As a Chelsea fan, to say I want to see the back of this season would be the biggest understament ever but if we have to hand it over, it could not go to a nicer man. He will get a huge reception at Stamford Bridge. They absolutely deserve all the plaudits they are receiving, no team has been a match for them.

And the fact they are pipping Arsenal and Spurs to it, makes it even better.

I admit it was slightly off the mark but Newcastle are heading down no club is too big. Under Roy Liverpool were at the bottom. Chelsea this season were so it's more possible than ever.

Klopp is a great manager though I don't think he will keep buying the duds previous managers did so they will likely be competitive.

But yes one bad season who knows. I was very worried about Chelsea had they went down it would be a massive shock. However Hazard will be sold plays world class ones season wouldn't get in the Stoke squad this year.

Any club can go Villa going is still a surprise even though it's been coming they are a big club that's for sure. We are seeing now teams like Bournemouth do a Hamilton. In Scotland no club has been to big to go down Rangers are back but both Hibs and hearts have been relegated as they couldn't get enough points to stay up same with Dundee United. Ross County won the Leauge cup you just don't hear of that but times have changed and we have had various winners of the cups up here for years now. Same in England teams like Birmingham, Wigan and Swansea in recent years hopefully more of these clubs can "dream" and win it.

Leiciester will inspire any supporter of any club outside the elite definitely this thread has attracted the ones jealous ones of Leicester. You don't have to morph into a fan many many people of all clubs and managers Pulis are all backing Leiciester as a football fan you have to want it to happen.

He done really well with the club sides he has managed, I know he didn't win anything at Chelsea, but he was only there one season, in Romans time.

He failed managing Greece, but that is international football.

Bournemouth have already won the Leauge it's a shock they stayed up enjoy the tv cash I'm sure I read if they stayed up they could improve there stadium. To a club like Bournemouth it's fantastic I expected them to be long relegated by now.

Because he failed and his time at Chelsea was forgotten by Mourinho. He's over 60 perhaps they felt he was the next LVG looking to retire after a season or two? He probably will retire in a few years but that's what happens. Age shouldn't matter as Sir Alex kept going until he was 70. But I doubt he would be in a hurry to retire after the job he's done Leiciester as they are well placed for next season with European football.

I'm glad they sacked him as he doesn't handle the media well did Leiciester no favours in the headlines.

Yep Chelsea players loved him I'm sure some have come out and spoke about what a nice guy he is and how he helped there career.

I also read he goes into the pubs around there and one of the few managers to stay in the city not sure if that's true? Everybody always tells him how they want Leiciester to win the Leauge this is what I've read in articles in the mail or guardian and forums.

Who pretends that though? This is a narrative of people who seem to be annoyed at Leicester being drowned in such praise. Very few people are pretending that they have always liked them. Very few people are pretending that they thought Leicester would hold on. Most people just can't help but be excited and amazed by it.

Everyone wrote them off. Everyone said Ranieri was a bad appointment. Everyone is being proven wrong. That's what makes it even better

Cheers this is well said. It's sad that a few have such sour grapes next seasons a new season of you support a big club I'm sure Leiciester is the wake up call you needed. I bet many older generations probably felt with today's money this sort of thing where football can win over money was gone. Let's be honest if it was a money Leauge Man City would be Barcelona and top by a mile. I'm so glad it's such a competitive Leauge and not over by March like with PSG in France.

Also I was so glad when Athletico did it in Spain a few years ago nobody believed it was possible until the last day.

I will freely admit that following his spell with Greece, I thought it was a strange appointment, as he didn't come away with many plaudits or credit from that job.

I know, I know, me getting a prediction wrong is no strange thing at all, but I did think that they would struggle with him in charge, the fact that they didn't, and in fact have done the complete opposite, is remarkable, and is a huge credit to him and his players.

This will be the most remarkable title win since their rivals Forest did so, (much more than say Blackburn, who were helped by Uncle Jack's money) and if they do pull it off, as is now seeing more and more likely, then good on them I say.

Although one slight downside will of course be seeing Gary in his pants, but I guess that I can live with that for a single episode!

The idea in here and the other thread that people largely are opposed to Leicester winning doesn't match up with reality. The most desperate person for them to fail that I've seen on this forum claims to be a Leicester fan.

Bigger than Blackburn as you never had the massive tv money or the massive ownership with so much cash like City of Chelsea. We have come through times where you "buy the title" or you have a Sir Alex. When you don't spend you don't win titles as Mr Wenger knows.

Today the Premiership is all set for the elite clubs but they can moan all they want it hurts that teams like FC Sion are there never mind Leiciester. All won there leagues and those who remember it just being the Champions Leauge. All the talk of a break away Leauge would destroy football.

If United or City have not been good enough they have to wake up smell the coffee and improve that's football. I'm sure most English clubs opposed any changes to the current Champions Leauge anyway they know if they change it the fans would uproar. If Leiciester win the division they deserve to be there with all the other "Champions" as it would have been in the old European cup days.

Where is the Leicester fan? It's a thread for neutrals spoiled by big club fans who realise Leiciester are about to actually won it.

You can't say it's me I've openly said I support Chelsea read my previous theads I'm active on the Chelsea thread and have been for some years.

I'd be astonished if you can find a single page of posts in this thread or the first one that even come close to neutral. Complaining about some rampant big club bitterness you seem intent on believing is there doesn't help the case for neutrality.
