It's as if a large amount of posts have been removed bit the responses to them have been left, except there was no argument made in the first place. Weird

God, I didn't realise we'd had a sudden influx of glue sniffers on the board.

I was just thinking, the last time something as shocking as Leicester winning the league happened was Greece winning the Euro's in 2004, but that was only a few games, this is a whole league season, so it has to be much more of a shock, so as much as my own team has drastically underperformed, I hope that they do manage to get over the line, as is looking likely, as seeing shocks like this is a good thing, and very memorable as well.

I can't recall anyone thinking Greece's 2004 Euro campaign was more of a shock, and they weren't the first or only underdogs to win a campaign. They aren't the Simpsons of football, with having already done it.

knew Mcmanaman would mention that paris domination of ligue 1 could be a reason why they never played well tonight.

silly comment to make, Paris just never turned up tonight. All teams have poor/average performances. Paris just picked the wrong night!

Would have expected PSG to wipe the floor with city over the 2 legs but now there's a chance (got a 1 in 4) of city going on to win the whole thing

Really? Theyre vastly overrated

Knew well city had a great chance it's obvious they're a fine team when really in the mood

Of course it's not a silly comment. PSG coast most of their league games and it's hard to crank things up mentally and physically on demand. PSG were complacent and just didn't put the effort in that the game needed and lacked sharpness - wot only get that I'd you're tested most weeks. Zlatan was shockingly lazy and the City defence found it too easy to contain him and catch him and others offside. It's trendy to salivate over the likes of PSG but in reality they are pretty average in the greater scheme of things as their recent CL record clearly shows. It's not as though City's have been any great shakes over the two legs. PSG have zero competition domestically and it will affect momentum, sharpmess and focus.

De Bruyne is a player and a half......they should be building the team around him when Pep turns up

Yeah, I agree. I didn't think his comments were unfair in the slightest.

Exactly. Decent enough punditry.

I also hope that this stops United or City or another Premier LEague team from Giving Ibrahimovic one more big pay day to swan around, and turn up for the games he fancies and not put in a shift for the games he doesnt next season. He would be a glorified Berbatov
This is not based on tonights performance which I didnt watch, but on him and where he is leaguewise, careerwise and fitting into the premier league...wise...

Some talent but bar the goal I actually thought he had a poor night by his standards

I'd put it more down to lingering rustiness though. He's a class act usually alright

You'd be mad to sign him with his wage demands

An absolute disgrace tonight tbh

I wonder who gets dropped when he, Sterling, and Silva are all fit, or do you play them all just behind Aguero?

Nasri Silva and kdb could be the options going forward

Navas isn't city standard tbh

Hammers well up for this, as they should be. Fellaini yet to get his elbows into the game.

Only 15 mins gone and Carrick is already useless.

Fellaini has been the pick of the players so far, some incisive runs and a few decent efforts on goal. Much better player when he keeps it clean.

Commentator says excellent keeping, but it was a very weak effort by Lingard, far too close to the keeper, Randolph would have had difficulty avoiding saving it.

Thought United dominated that half after the frenzied opening. I feel they are showing glimpses of how they could play if the dead weight of Van Gaal was taken off their backs.

In the CL Barcelona surprisingly 1-0 down. They seem to have really slipped up recently
