Superb play by Milner, deserved a goal but Origi couldn't deliver.

On Nights like this it really reinforces how stupid the outdated away goal rule is.

Tie could theoretically be still open, but given the AG rule it's well put to bed barring a miracle

Don't ask me. I just posted what the caller was saying.

The presenters were basically laughing at him.

Incredible deal

West ham have paid £15m of the £272m bill to convert London's Olympic Stadium into a ground for Premier League football, it has been revealed.

And the club will pay £2.5m in rent a year, the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) confirmed after a battle over releasing details of the deal with the Hammers.

The LLDC today made the terms of its deal public after a Freedom of Information Act request was submitted by a coalition of London supporters’ trusts.

Any naming of the Stadium deal will see the first £4m return directly to the corporation with a 50:50 split on further income, whilst the contract also provides further bonuses for the public purse should West Ham enjoy success on the field.

West Ham would be obliged to make further payments if they finish above 10th in the Premier League, whilst a Champions League triumph at any stage over the next 99 years would see the Hammers paying £1million.

A goal from Liverpool before half time would set this match up perfectly. Have a feeling Borussia are just as likely to slot in a third though

Good grief, I didn't realise Can was playing. Has he touched the ball at all?

This game has gone the way I thought the first leg would.

I wonder how they knew he was a Leicester City supporter

All referees have to declare to PGMOL which teams they support or have other allegiances to.

The AG rule is good. It means the away team has more incentive to attack.

It's put to bed because Dortmund are a better team than Liverpool, not because of the AG rule.

That Origi goal has turned up the volume at Anfield. Unfortunately it seems to have given Michael Owen more energy as well ...

Owen is to commentating what Yoko Ono and Tiny Tim is to singing. They make your ears bleed.

I was just about to post a comment about how disappointing Coutinho had been and he decides to make an appearance and scores a characteristic goal.

With modest resources, in terms of quality of the squad, Liverpool are giving it good go, I will give them that. As for how many of this squad will be - or should be - at Anfield next season ...
