I really didn't think this Liverpool squad had it in them, but that was a remarkable victory, marvelous reward for a terrific crowd.

I stopped watching the match when Dortmund went 2-0 up.

I've learnt my lesson.

If both Liverpool and city win the trophies fourth place doesn't get in if city are not in the top 4

To come back from 2-0 and 3-1 down in a European tie is tough enough. To do it against a seriously good BVB team is mindblowing. What an achievement by Liverpool and Klopp, looking forward to seeing what they look like under him next season after a pre season and transfer window.

They will be if Sevilla go out. I hope Sevilla don't go out as I have them and athletico Madrid to win the two trophies .

So this extra time is tense for me

My thoughts exactly.
I have already said before tonight's game that Spurs and Liverpool could finish next season above Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City and United with the managers they have.

Early doors yet but Spurs could have a hangover of sorts, so I think next season might be a bit of a comedown year. Manager could go too although it's probably unlikely right now, but who knows if Madrid or Utd come calling

Pool though could well be a serious early bet. A few shrewd signings and who knows, they have a top class manager and great fighting spirit when they want

Just read this.

"Jonas Gutierrez wins Newcastle United discrimination tribunal case.

Midfielder Jonas Gutierrez was dropped by Newcastle United because of his cancer diagnosis, an employment tribunal has found.

The 32-year-old was suing the Magpies for about £2m on the grounds of disability discrimination.

The tribunal also ruled the club made it impossible for Gutierrez to trigger an appearance-based contract extension."

Why aren't BT showing the penalty shoot out?

Edit: after faffing about for 5 minutes showing goals from earlier in the day they finally join the shoot out in progress.

A rare misstep in BTs usually very good European coverage.
