Bryan Robson: "Too many of the players aren't good enough"
Robson agrees with Nova... Two tactical geniuses!

He could probably get his boots back on and do a better job than Schneiderlin.

Howard Webb just described Fellaini picking up a possible suspension as more bad news for United.

He's lost me there, I must say.

Sadly i can, until the end of the season at least. LVG should of gone in December it is a disgrace he has lasted this long.
There's no one to replace him until the summer anyway as Giggs doesn't want to keep the seat warm for the next guy according to the press.

It's a case of grin and bear it.

You reap what you sow. He should have been out on his arse in December.

I'm actually angry. I've never felt this sort of football rage before.

Could be a pitchfork riot next Thursday if that cretin is still here.

Absolutely woeful. Again.

Carrick is finished. I've been a huge fan of his, but the signs of rapid decline are obvious. He shouldn't be getting a new contract, this year.

We're relying far too heavily on 3 kids, up front. They don't have the experience to all be playing at the same time. They lack the game intelligence that experience brings. Mata isn't seeing the runs that he should be seeing.

I won't be jerking any knees, but it's clear that Van Gaal has to go, probably at the end of the season. And we should be giving Mourinho whatever the hell he wants.

If they're adamant that they won't take him, then Blanc would do.

How Mata has been captain these past few matches I don't know, talk about rewarding failure.

I can't see him surviving this.
That has to be the final nail in LvG's coffin now, there is surely no way he can carry on next season after that.

Blanc has just signed a new deal with PSG, so I can't really see him leaving this summer.

You think that he is captaincy material?

Smalling was on the pitch, do you think Mata should have been captain over and above him?

Yes, because contracts are absolutely sacrosanct, and are never, ever broken, or stand in the way of people changing clubs.

Who bloody cares who's captain?

There's no Keane/Robson/Vidic in this squad. It's meaningless.

Makes you wonder if the next potential manager doesn't fancy Carrick and that's why there's been no news about renewing his contract.

I agree, I think he's done unfortunately.

Who gives a shit about the captaincy, really?

Not one of that lot that started has got an ounce of leadership quality in them.

Edit: What Jim said!

I'm not so sure, I think he can still do some sort of job for the team....

The thing I'm struggling with this side is that we can go one a run of games and look great, and then the whole team rather than just one player plays badly and it lasts way longer than it should. I suspect the team need someone to come in no matter who it is, who'll tell them they are all world beaters, just to increase the confidence. We know they can play well, and beat that Liverpool team, but I think we all sort of saw this coming after the way we played on Saturday, our confidence in the team is as low as the teams itself.

They will definitely score at OT, and we are simply not capable of scoring four goals in a match right now.

God help us if Real Madrid pinch DDG in the summer.

Barring money, I see absolutely no reason why De Gea would want to stick around.

He must be totally fed up.

Why would Blanc break his contract to come to us, he is at a very wealthy club, who are presumably paying him a fairly decent wage, and he has a very competitive team on his hands.

Yes the French league is not all that competitive, but I just don't seem him having the urge to leave them for us, the ex-player thing might not be as big a pull seeing as he was only here for a very brief period.

schneiderlin has had a very poor season, he's been a big disappointment. i am hoping the next manager will be able to get a lot more out of him and that he's better then what he has shown so far. van gaal's decision to start fellaini in central midfield when he had schweinsteiger and herrera on the bench is baffling, very odd decision.

You lost to Liverpool 2-0 with barely putting up a fight, and we weren't amazing either. The choice of captain is possibly the last thing you should be concerned about. It really doesn't matter. You suggest Smalling, but if Smalling should've been captain he'd have shown it, he shouldn't need an armband to show some leadership.
