Just watched LVG's end of season speech not a patch on last years, but to me the players looked bored out of there brains when they were listening to him, probably shows that he has lost the dressing room, probably reading too much into it but the sooner he goes the better even in his speech it seemed to be full of excuses about how it is all about players and how he had nothing to do with it all.
Probably all in awe of Rachel Riley.

Beauty and brains!

With all the goings on at the Bridge tonight, the FA just might forget about the phone call to Fellaini... What's worrying is that Clattenburg allowed so many crude and ugly challenge go by, with us coming up against Palace at Wembley.

Still the wait goes on for Spurs, and the longer the merrier for me, they may not be rival, but the fans I just can't stand. So glad this has happened to them.

Tbf I think they would have been worthy winners if they had done it. Their goal difference is almost the same as our goals scored.

The Pulis curse strikes again, he loves to be a party pooper! Got thumped by West Ham next game after.

Fellani won't get away with it though, hopefully Huth gets dragged into it too.

I won't deny the Spurs team wouldn't have been worthy winners, but it's the fans that I dislike, we'd have never heard the end of it had they won it. Leicester fans will enjoy it and when they slip back to mid table normality, they'll support the team as they've always done.

There are teams far worse that could have won it than Spurs.

Crystanbul was a blessed relief.

Got to win the FA Cup first, should beat Palace if we play right but nothing is certain with United nowadays.

Imagine if ends up as a Palace vs. Leicester community shield. Difficult to get my head around how unexpected that would be.

Course, Palace winning the cup would be nowhere near as unexpected as Leicester doing what they've done. Would still be shock winners going into the season and to do it in the same year would be bonkers.

Edit: 50-1 for Palace to win the cup before the 3rd round, so just a 255,050-1 double.

Lost the dressin-room?

What rot.

Man Utd have been playing pretty well recently. Louis Van Gaaal is making good fist of saving his job. Could qite cnceiveably still quify for the Champions League (considering Man Utd have a game in hand on Man City and Man City stil have to play Arsneal). As well as being in an FA Cup Final.

We haven't really though. Against Leicester the first half was good. The second half, we looked pretty clueless.

Against Everton we could have easily lost if Lukaku hadn't been so shit. It took a last minute goal and a penalty save to wing it.

We won't get top 4 because as we have seen so many times this season we have failed to take advantage when others have slipped up.

Our away form is dire so I can't see 6 points there. It will take City to collapse for us to nick their spot.

Is this the same mangager who threw him under a bus before he left? Maybe he also thought there were better options available too? The same manager who was the best in the club's history!

He played in midfield as Fergie preferred other options as is the situation Van Gaal has at the moment.

My argument again, is that I don't see any more of a contribution from Rooney than Schneiderlin other than he has to play. If you feel otherwise, as you obviously do, then that's your right to do so.

I have backed up my opinion you clearly don't want to listen to it. Maybe I don't present it as eloquently as you do?
You answered the question but the poster has left the forum already! Just incase anyone is reading this without a log in, it wasnt me!

Demba Ba is a legend, second only to Tony Pulis.

That Gerrard testimonial year was a farce, it was like he was retiring, not just moving clubs as countless other players have done.

Mis-control really, the subsequent slip just made it harder for him to recover. I don't think he would have recovered in time even if he hadn't slipped but we'll never know.

It wasn't a "farce". Yes it might have been a bit much but that's the media for you. And it's understandable why they were like that. He DID retire, from Liverpool, and the Premier League, as a player. He's a Liverpool legend, and all that he's done for Liverpool since he came through our academy is incredible, so when he retired from our club it's understandable that the media would go over the top about it because that's what they do. Gerrard's loved by the media, they wanted us to win the title for him, when the media have their favourites they don't hold back.

He didn't just move clubs like countless other players have done, to say that is being disrespectful towards him, he effectively retired from his boyhood club after captaining them for so long, and doing so much for said boyhood club.

Munch is a darn sight more polite than I will be. I continuously wonder how you have the nerve to post the drivel you do in this forum, it beggars belief at times.

Gerrard was a legend at Liverpool no doubt, but he did move clubs, he didn't retire, he is still playing for LA Galaxy.

If say like Carragher, he was retiring, then the fuss would have been acceptable and perfectly understandable, but that was not the case in this situation.

So I just thought it was way over the top, especially that last home game.

But of course you would! Your sheer hatred of Liverpool and their players shines from here like a beacon.

What business is it of yours anyway? Did his testimonial effect you in any way? No? Well it did to me and thousands of others, I was there and it was an amazing day I wouldn't have missed for the world - it was for OUR player. No matter where he is, he's Liverpool through and through, end of.
