Lets hope the Spurs result makes Arsenal want to win today even more

Ohhh, come on Arsenal have got some extra motivation hopefully by Spurs getting beat, as they have a very real chance of second place if they can win today!

Well Ars can get runners up now if they beat City. Or even if they draw. Excellent incentive methinks, but being Arsenal, they are just as likely to balls it up and knowing City, they will play out of their skin because they know what lost points could mean... and it's us!

2 quick goals.

This game could be interesting!

Arsenal have a massive incentive to win now Spurs have lost. Even if City win it's not over if we beat West Ham on Tuesday. Swansea away is trickier than Bournemouth at home.

Given the way this season has gone I just fear the script has already been written - we scrape fourth place. Liverpool win Europa League. We don't get into the Champions League

That doesn't matter, 4th still qualify. You would only have missed out if city had won the champions league and finished 5th.

Yup, that was an extra reason why I was so happy when City were knocked out, it stopped that particular nightmare scenario from happening.

Well that goal has made our chances of fourth place that much more unlikely, come on Arsenal, at least get a draw!

Unbelievable that we are still in a chance of getting top 4. I will take it over FA Cup.

Wow, it actually is possible, until we obviously mess it all up in midweek.

Who here were the fans who said Man United had no chance of making the top four

In our own hands now!

Still can't see us beating West Ham. That said, I could see Swansea turning City over.

I think it all comes down to the match with West Ham, win that, and what City do v Swansea becomes irrelevant.

I'm actually fairly optimistic for the West Ham game. Won't be comfortable but I'd back us to win.

No it wouldn't.

Imagine being a Tottenham fan and dreading the possibility of STILL finishing below Arsenal despite being the only threat to Leicester in the title race for a solid month or so.

What about Bournemouth?

So Champions league qualification takes precedence over an FA cup?

Unbelievable. How standards have dropped.

How very Arsenal.

Yeah sorry I got my maths a bit muddled up, we are two points behind them with a game in hand, so we could still get fourth place even if we get beat by West Ham, so the pressure to a certain degree is off of that match.

A win there would obviously and certainly allow a certain amount of breathing space for the Bournemouth match.

So even a draw at West Ham, wouldn't be a total disaster, we would just be relying on Swansea to do us a favour.

We are very much in the hunt peeps.

We could actually technically still finish third if Villa beat Arsenal, and we win our last two matches!

Yeah I wouldn't bet on it, but it would surely be the end for Wenger if that happened!

I think he's going in a year anyway isn't he?

Is he?

He just seems to always be there no matter how poor their season is.
