This seems to bears the hallmarks of an IRA attack, rather than ISIS etc. With the threat level having been raised this week it would not be surprising unfortunately.

Sheesh, someone's for the high jump. When I was going regularly, I couldn't even get a carton of Ribena past security so heaven knows how a "suspect package" got through the turnstiles?
Would have to have been strapped to someone, so will it be pat downs from now on?

Sadly, there is no possible replay date that won't adversely affect either United's Cup Final preparations or the players' and staff's post season arrangements. Bournemouth supporters' too.

All in all, it's bladdy annoying, especially, as is most often the case, it's a fake.

Just wondering if city win and west lose would united and bournemouth just accept a 0-0 draw to avoid a replay and disruption like you say.

Why?

Surely that is far too close, and would disrupt our cup final preparations.

I suppose if Bournemouth had no league position to gain from a win then it would be ideal.

Why would we accept a draw?

There is more to this then just ourselves, a Bournemouth win, could net them some more extra cash due to finishing higher up in the league.

OT security has actually aready been quite high in the past few months anyway,

Jackets tend to have to be removed before going through now - all bags are searched and random pat downs do occur.

So say city lost what would happen? If they win or draw I guess it doesn't matter but if they were beaten surely they would have to find some date to play the game.

I'm sure they would be compensated one way or another, prise money for there final finsh is mere thousands not millions.

The game will definitely be played, regardless of what happens in other matches.

Yes, but it would be less time than our opponents, how exactly would that be fair?

Surely both teams for a cup final should get the same preparation time?

Just play the match after the cup final.

What would you have done if you had got to the Europa League final, refuse to play?

According to Andy Mitten a controlled explosion is going to take place at Old Trafford, really scary stuff.
