It would be unfair no matter which side is inconvenienced, but we are in a very unusual situation here, and so with us having to play this game, then I don't know how you go about it, whilst keeping everyone happy.
Someone, will be unhappy with the scheduling, no matter when it is eventually played, as we are in a bit of tight schedule at this time of the year. And for the last time, you don't need to keep saying it's an unusual situation. We already know. Even if you did play tomorrow it wouldn't matter much because there'd be 5 days until the final, they're professional athletes playing at the highest level, and so would be able to handle it. |

Yes, it would be unfair on someone, which is what I've already said. But what I'm getting at is the fact that you seem fine with Crystal Palace being inconvenienced, that it'd be them that are inconvenienced rather than you, while if the game was to be played tomorrow you'd be outraged by it because you'd be the ones to suffer for it.
And for the last time, you don't need to keep saying it's an unusual situation. We already know. Even if you did play tomorrow it wouldn't matter much because there'd be 5 days until the final, they're professional athletes playing at the highest level, and so would be able to handle it. I was trying to look at this from a practical side of things, and with all of the police work that will inevitably comeabout because of this, I highly doubt that it will be played tomorrow, or during the week. So you would then be looking at after the Cup final, which whilst not entirely fair for Palace, is what is the best date due to all of the arrangements that will have to be made to play it. |

I am not fine with anyone being inconvenienced, where did you get that from?
I was trying to look at this from a practical side of things, and with all of the police work that will inevitably comeabout because of this, I highly doubt that it will be played tomorrow, or during the week. So you would then be looking at after the Cup final, which whilst not entirely fair for Palace, is what is the best date due to all of the arrangements that will have to be made to play it. You looking at it from a practical side of things seems to be a new development. Initially you were talking about it inconveniencing Man United because you'll have one day less to rest and prepare for the final than Crystal Palace. That is what you said. Had you said at the start that you don't think it'll be played tomorrow because of all the police stuff then it'd be fine, but you didn't, you said it'd be unfair on Man United because they'd have less rest than Crystal Palace. So you didn't want it tomorrow because it would be unfair on Man United who would have had less time to rest and prepare. But if you have it after the final then that would be the best solution, even though that instead inconveniences Crystal Palace. |

There is no real way to have it without it inconveniencing one side, I do think it would be best after the cup final to allow everyone to be able to sort things out properly for the match to be played once again.
Will that mean inconveniencing Palace, in this case yes, but that is entirely unfortunate, and it is not something that I would ideally want to happen, I would want a fair amount of time for both teams, but due this situation, that is not possible unfortunately. |

Which is fine, but that wasn't what you were arguing about initially, and that's not what I and some others have been disagreeing with you over.

Fun question, will José be in charge of the re-arranged game?

Think we'll find out fairly shortly if it was a threat or not.

It'll be entirely appropriate that we miss out on CL football on goal difference.

The Manchester Evening News are reporting something about a mobile phone attached to a gas pipe.

United are going to have to beat Bournemouth 18 - 0, to finish 4th. I think LvG's season long strategy of 1 shot on target per game might have to change somewhat...

I am just thankful that the police and security personal found this device in time, Lord only knows the horrors if they had not.

Assuming the game isn't played this week, Fellaini is still banned for the Cup Final.

"Yah... it is more difficult now, but I don't answer hypothetical questions, we can still qualify, I will tell you what I think after the Bournemouth game". |

A totally meaningless game with has points attached to it, but one that will not contain one single international player. |

It looks like records would have to be broken against Bournemouth for Man United to qualify for the Champions League

Painful to be out of Champions League again. Really hope LVG can finish strong with FA cup and give us something for the season.

I wonder if he will again dismiss questions about United failing to qualify for the CL by again saying:
"Yah... it is more difficult now, but I don't answer hypothetical questions, we can still qualify, I will tell you what I think after the Bournemouth game". |
