At the time of my post, England were 2-0 up and Rashford had scored first. Therefore, it was 'looking good'.

Do you really have to stick your beak into everything? Especially when you can't even get the 'facts' right.
I don't stick "my beak" into everything!

I was taking pity on the bet, so why get so upset?!

Great news. The special one is now at the special club.

Its just a list of players named by a journalist, no doubt itll be another summer of ever player going being linked with us. Hopefully after his dreadful season for Everton we go nowhere near Stones, we need an experienced centre back not another questionable potential player, might as well keep McNair for that position.
Jose could transform Stones into the new Rio Ferdinand. He knows how to defend, but Martinez let him forget.

Jackson from The Guardian is claiming that Willian and Ibrahimovic 'want United moves'.
I would have Willian in a heartbeat. He's like Ji Sung park on skill steroids. But apparently Conte is already blocking any such move. And I am finally resigned to
to Zlatan arriving at OT (isn't that nice of me). At least, for all his rep of having an overblown ego, he tends to get on really well with teamates, obviously gets on well with Jose and we will have this song to look forward to next season:

"FORGET THE LAST THREE YEARS"

Not a problem, Jose. Not a problem.
Errr yeah. But Jose has some forgetting of his own to do as well.....

Speaking of betting, which one or two were, I see that we've shot up from 5th. favourites to win the PL next season, to 2nd. favourites (behind City).

This appointment is having quite an impact, even among the punters... and Mourinho vs. Guardiola just makes it all the more an exciting prospect! I just hope Jose is able to learn from his mistakes.

If true, that would be great news, and a good way to start the summer.

I'm convinced that Stones is gonna be an amazing player so he will be a great signing as will Ibra he signs . He could do a Cantana .

Never been a fan of Cantona (or Pep) but he is the only one who said United should have got Pep instead of Jose, which makes sense. Even though Bayern couldn't win the CL under him and I disagreed with his tactics on many occasions, they did play some gorgeous football! I never thought that of any of Jose's teams.

But he chose City so it's irrelevant now. Mourinho will do nicely as an alternative.

Just got the pesky European Championships to deal with, then we can get back into thinking about next season properly, it would be nice, just as a sort of taster, if we could make one, maybe two signings before they kick-off however!

I think it's nice to have a break tbh after a slog of a season.

This more than most Euro's, seeing as bar Scotland, all of the rest of the home nations are there.

Ashley Fletcher is starting for Barnsley in the League One Play-Off Final, if people are interested and wish to watch it.

Well it is nice to see our players doing well, I wonder if he stick with Barnsley if they hold onto this lead, and go up, as a good run of games in the Championship would be very good for him.

I remember watching the ch league knock out round game v lyon in 2007/8 (he scored in the away game) and the commentator was saying there was talk he'd be at United 'next season'. He was 20 then. He's 29 next season. I think that ship sailed long ago.

Besides (as expected) after last night he said he 'wants to stay and RM for many years to come'!

And I won't believe a word of all these players Jose is apparently wanting, until the day one of them (or any other) actually appears with his new shirt at OT.
It's the easiest way to view transfer 'rumours' cos if you believe what you read, we'd have a squad of 700 every season!

Nothing more than paper talk based, no doubt, on the fact he'll be 35 when the season starts and of course, as we all apparently know, Jose loves anyone over 30, adores anyone over 34, and sells everyone under 28!
lol

I'll believe it if and when it's officially announced.

I believe had LVG stayed he wouldn't have got another year, well according to James Cooper from SSN anyway.
