I'd be dropping £25m on Butland asap if I was Woodie.

I would rather like to see Herrera get another season. I appreciate his attitude and willingness to put his foot in and leave it there and his passing is decent enough. He is not too nice, unlike others who perhaps should be out the door before him. On the other hand, if Mourinho has found someone who can pass accurately and deliver a good kicking, whilst making it look completely incidental.....

Rather Smikes junior tbh if Dave does porridge.

Hopefully there's no case to answer anyway.

Don't why i've got two different quotes but I agree with Mindset's comments seeing as they have turned up on my post.

Did I? I don't remember that.

Having seen him last season though he could be a decent plan B if Dave goes.

He did improve tremendously last season in fairness. Not the best at shot stopping, but his distribution was incredible.

Forster too. He's a man mountain.

That would have been before Leicester's season, none of us would have given any of there players a second look as most would have been saying we need proven star players to help us move on etc.

It's a different kettle of fish now they've won something. I do like Kasper, but the weight of moving to us would be huge. Were we looking for a keeper, I'd have gone back for Zieler, he was technically very good and has progressed since he left us. However, let's wait and see if we need a new keeper first of all.

Hes rubbish, never come out for crosses or helps anyone in trouble when the balls pumped over the heads of the defence, you have been warned !!

Update from El Confidencial - The police has investigated and found no proof to corroborate the accusations made by the protected witness.
The authorities in Spain aren’t considering to call De Gea, Isco or Muniain to testify or answer for any crimes unless proof is found.
Considering that the accusations by the witness were investigated and no proof was found, players likely not to be implicated any further.
From twitter. Really hope it's correct.

Phew hopefully this puts De Gea in the clear, as that would have been the very last thing that we needed!

Strange that it's all come to light on the day of the Euro's.

Timing isn't great considering it was alledged to have happened before he even came to United.

Anyone fancy seeing our academy side playing in the EFL Trophy next season?

I presume that it will be Joyce rather than José overseeing these matches.

Hope it all turns out to be false about De Gea, he is a fine goalkeeper and would be a great loss to us but obviously somethings have to come before football and if he was guilty we would have to cut ties no matter how talented he is.

I would be surprised if he was guilty as he doesn't seem the type to be involved in something like that but then i have been surprised before about someone closer to home being involved in something similar and beforehand i would never of guessed that they were a paedophile.

If De Gea is found to be innocent which i think he will be then he should sue the relevant parties as it is a terrible thing to be accused of, it doesn't matter how rich or famous someone is such an accusation can ruin lives whilst it also makes it harder for the real victims to come forward in the future. I also agree the timing of all this seems off, why is it being released today when the Euro's start when the incident is said to of happened 4 years ago? something seems very fishy.

It all depends on which teams we play in this competition. Looking like they may be restructuring the development leagues, and going to U23 rather than U21. We may play a younger team in this competition, which might mean someone else coaching them.

A couple of new back room staff at the academy as well recently. Both got good reputations, so lets see how that goes. Plus we are bringing in lots of teenagers to avoid the problems we had last year.

Talking of teenagers, only two let go with Powell and Valdes.

Perhaps we could wait and see if anything actually comes of this De Gea thing before we start writing his United obituary and worrying about who might replace him?

I'm aware that it's fun to think about though.

I wouldn't say that it is at all fun to think about trying to replace either the second best or best (depending on your point of view) goalkeeper in the world!

That would cost us a heck of a lot of cash to do so, when that money could be better spent elsewhere.

Think it was such a shame how things turned out for them both especially Valdes would have been a good understudy for DDG.

We are being linked with Kante in the papers tomorrow, that is one deal that I would love to see happen.

Well not me for a start!

Anyway being more serious, it depends on what you are after, as there are some very good club ones on twitter who do seem to get more things right than wrong in that respect, plus a good few youth ones.

However if it is just transfer news you are after, then I would recommend amongst the sea of rubbish names, Stan Collymore, he is a big name, but he gets a fair few things right, Jan Aage Fjortoft can be a bit hit and miss, but is good at times, but from there I follow a fair few but they mostly just spread rumours, and I just enjoy trying to keep up with them all!
