I try to retire from it. But like Michael Corleone, just when I thought I was out, they keep pulling me back in.

Goodluck brother. Hope you make it out alive.

I used to think Batdude got unwarranted stick and jumped on at times but recently the tone of his posts are of someone who thinks he has some sort of superior authority on here, maybe due to amount of posters he's seen off, be it left or banned.
Well, I still think Batdude gets jumped on. It's like a panto here at times with Batdude cast as King Rat. And it's hard to read with all the booing and hissing that occurs whenever he posts. And yes, there has been a recent change, but It was only a matter of time before the tone turned sneery. What else can you expect from someone who's clearly beginning to love the role?

Anyway..... do any of you think we really a chance of signing Pogba? Have to say that I agree with those who think we are being used as bait for Real here....

Ok, my last post didn't show and this isn't the first time that's happened. It'll probably appear by the time I post this, but does anyone know what's going on? Is it a browser issue or summat?

Seems to be a website issue, I've seen last posts not showing all over the place. If you click "add reply" you can scroll down and view the post not showing but that's not really much help!

Forums f***ed, never sorted the search issue, probably just leave this one aswell. More bothered about posting crap on the main site.

I do not have any superior authority, I am only a poster on the same level as everyone else who posts here in these forums.
I have not seen off anyone, if people have been banned then that was and is a decision for the moderators, of which I am most certainly not one of them.

He's probably so wrapped up in his love of wrestling, he thinks this some sort of last man standing contest.

Soon enough he'll be posting and replying to his own posts.

I don't know how you United fans cope. Glad he's one of yours.
What has one of my personal interests got to do with anything??

Do you not have interests away from these forums??

I would be shocked if we signed Pogba, if for no other reason then for the sort of numbers being floated about which would be required to sign him.
It would be a tad bit embarrassing I think, if we bought him back say for about £80 million, after letting him go on a free transfer a few years ago.

I've found if you go to reply (full screen, advanced reply) you ccan see the latest post that DS is hidingfrom you. It's just the latest that's hidden I think. Another post tends to unlock it along with the new post. So until they fix the site, clicking on the Add Reply option seems the best solution.

It's probably something like the site or forum software needing to update, or too much traffic or something.

And if the search function is anything to go by it's never getting fixed.

Yeah that is how I do it, I just click on reply to any post, just to see what the most recent one is when I cannot see it, which is quite a lot recently.

It is so annoying though, hopefully they get round to sorting it out.

I don't think that it would be 'embarrassing'.

We didn't release him on a free, he refused to sign a new contract. Besides which, it was under a different manager.

Regardless, I don't see him coming back.

^^^ All above - Thanks for the replies. Since I posted I've read a few other threads were people have been complaining as well. Least I know it's not just me and I don't have to duplicate any of my masterpieces for fear of deprieving you lot from reading them

So Zlatan is ours. Hopefully Jose can get everyone else he wants as well....

If he did come though, we would have a fair few people in competition for a place in that sort of area in the team, perhaps we may see a few people leaving (Herrera/Fellaini/Schweinsteiger)??

Yeah now that we have had two signings confirmed, surely number three (Mikatarayn) will be announced shortly.

July 5th is José press conference is it not, I wonder we will see sat in the middle with the new signings either side of him?

So Ibrah has won the league in each of his first seasons with his teams since 2001, no pressure or anything to carry that record on then!

SAF always used to say he liked having the "good problems" of squad riches, but this isn't even a problem. Herrera and Fellani have never quite fitted in while Schwiny can do one as far as I'm concerned. Pogba > than the lot of them put together. Still don't think he'll come though.

Pleased Zlatan is coming to us and it has now being confirmed by the man himself, he is still a real talent and he will help the likes of Rashford and Martial for the future plus he is a free transfer so it is win win really. I don't know if we will win anything next season or not but with Mourinho and Zlatan at United it will certainly be more interesting than the snooze fest we had under LVG.

Oh I agree on the having the good squad problems, the thing is, do we actually have that, or do we have a fair few samey samey players, rather than any truly outstanding players in that area of the pitch??

As much as I am a fan of Herrera and Schweinsteiger, would we miss them if they (and say Fellaini) left (providing we adequately replaced them)??

Pogba would certainly give us something that none of them currently offer us, so I would welcome, but I guess after being Moyesified, and LvG'd, my abilities to accept that we could get him, have somewhat diminished, hence why I would be shocked if we did get him.

Yes, that is something that I am really, seriously, wholeheartedly looking forward to, more than anything, just no more God damn 0-0 half time scores!!

Sorry Batdude. I've just never understood your love for WWF. I don't see the point in it.

This is what I'm into away from work.....

Fair enough, not my cup of tea, but I am not going to hold that against you, each of us likes different things away from this great club of ours, and there is nothing at all wrong with that.

The main accusation I've seen levelled at Zlatan is that he's a 'flat track bully'.

Well even if he is, that will help us out if he scores plenty against the dross of the league that we've struggled to put away over the last couple of years. The amount of points that we dropped to teams in the lower half of the table last season was criminal, and was the difference between finishing 5th and challenging for the title.

It's those feckers in the politics thread, they post tons of shit over there and it's fast and furious. I had a quick look but backed out there are some scary posters over there.

I don't think that he is, but yeah, I'd take it.

Rashford can do the 'big' boys over.
