Neh worries, there will still be some of us trying to get a laugh every now and again!
Thanks, Bats! I did not realise that enjoying being a member of the Good Old Days club was as bad as being a Leaver in the politics forum.

I'll get my coat - wife's BMW needs a wash and there is tennis and F1 on the TV too

Sorry it just bugs me a little when people talk about footballers cars when proportionally they are spending far less of their income on them than the average man on the street does on his non flash vehicle!
This is the thing.....people live by their means.

I spend upto the amount me and the wife earn yearly. Which is less than £100,000 .

If i was paid more then I surely would spend more.

It really doesn't bother me that much......it's crazy amounts of money but big deal.

Bankers are paid alot.
Lawyers
Surgeons
Tennis players
Golfers
American footballers
Baseball players
Basketball players

Why do we moan just about footballers?

The smileys were all waste of time in this topic..... or

Next season will be fun here.
They're always a waste of time.

They don't change what's been said.

Looks like Tyler Reid could be on his way to Swansea, sad really as the lad does have a fair bit of potential.

Hope that it works out well for him.

A young player on our books who plays in defence, and who has done well in the under 18's.

Yet another completely irrelevant name in the youth system that will either never be heard of again or will earn a living in the championship and lower.

Sorry I thought that this thread was about the club as a whole, rather than just the first team, hence why I mentioned it.:

You appear to use it as your own personal blog. Seems it stopped being man united supporters thread a while ago.

Doris the tea lady has decided to leave the club to serve her own brand of refreshments at Oldham. Shame as i really believe she had great potential. I wish her best for the future.

Just heard anything interview with jip jaap stam explaining the full reason why he left United.

He said his book was circulated in the papers and whilst he was away on international duty he got a call to say fergie wanted to speak to him and that he wasn't happy.
He went to the training ground the next day and fergie told him in no uncertain terms that he was not happy...at all.
Him and Jaap had words and jaap told fergie that the press had taken the words out of context , he said if you read it yourself you would see. Him and fergie continued to discuss it but then fergue told him to get out....jaap then told him he wouldn't be in for training when they return from the friendly

When jaap was in his car going home he got a call from his agent who said United had sold him to lazio. The deal had been done and they were to replace e him with laurent blanc.
He said he never wanted to leave and had only just signed a new long term deal......a month or so earlier.

It sounds terrible the way he was treated but he did not seem bitter at all, in fact he said he met up with fergie on a number of occasions after and they had pleasantries.

Really like him and hope he does well.

Such a shame he left when he did, he was by far the best defender in the prem at the time and very very close to the best in Europe if not the world.

I hope Bats did not mention Rashford a couple of years ago. (Pick your own smiley).

True dat. Painful.

He didn't. A scout he is not. We're all still waiting for Will Keane to become the next Shearer. That was his prediction, if I recall correctly.

Blanc coming to the end of his career or Stam?

Fergie definitely shot himself in the foot with this one.

Show me where I said such a thing, if you are going to attempt to mock me, or condemn me for such a thing.

Where have I ever said that I was a scout?? Or anyone in the know, all that I am is a watcher of the matches that are broadcast on MUTV, just as lots of other people are (otherwise the channel wouldn't keep broadcasting).

Err no, this is no more my thread then it is anyone else's, I post here just as you or anyone else decides to do, that is the general idea of an open forum.
I am a mere ordinary poster like everyone else.

cue the "this is no more my blog than anyone else. I come here to debate and have good times with my fellow man united colleagues"

And precisely what would be wrong with such a reply were I to have said such a thing??

Thank you for posting this, it is very illuminating, and helps to put together events which saw him leave the club.

Yeah, even the best get things wrong from time to time, and this and perhaps the Pogba episode, show this to be the case with Sir Alex.

Just stop. Please.

You are tedious in the extreme, and have ruined this thread/forum. I'm not interested in scouring the thousands of pages written, in order to prove a point. I know what you said about Keane, and that's good enough for me.

Keep protesting your innocence, keep pretending that you don't see this as your personal blog, keep boring the arse off of everyone.

I give up.

So you accuse me of something, yet when I try and defend myself, I am the person in the wrong??

This not my personal blog, this is an open forum, where anyone who is registered can post (and I encourage more people to do so), this has nothing to do with me in that sense or regards, the only people in charge are the mods, of which I am most definitely not one.

Although quite two of THE worst decisions ever made EVER !

As a side note I just heard a whisper that you're supposedly looking to bring in Kante as well as Pogba !!!

If ya pull that off they may as well present the league trophy to you before the season even starts.
