They're a good side, no need for the snobbery.
They do play better football than they did under Sam but i'll reserve judgement over them until I have more than a season to do so. It's not that long ago Pardew and Rogers were getting the plaudits. |

A couple of lines, from a couple of uber-reliable sources:
The Mirror reckon that we're looking at Fabregas. Smacks of an easy story, to me. Meanwhile, The Mail are claiming that Mourinho's told the players that he only wants 24 players in the first-team squad. Anyone outside of that 24 can either leave, or train with the U-21's. The golden 24? They kindly provide the list: Goalkeepers: De Gea, Romero, Johnstone. Defenders: Jones, Valencia, Darmian, Shaw, Smalling, Fosu-Mensah, Borthwick-Jackson, Bailly. Midfielders: Mkhitaryan, Pogba, Herrera, Depay, Carrick, Schneiderlin, Young, Lingard, Pereira. Forwards: Ibrahimovic, Rooney, Rashford, Martial. Can't see the likes of Blind, Mata and Schweinsteiger training with the kids. And Pogba? Bit presumptuous, at this stage... |

24? According to the papers it was 22 last week. Give it a week or two and it'll be 26!

Interesting group, as Jose implemented a 19/5 squad at Inter, with 19 "world stars" and 5 home grown players being in the squad. He's still getting praise for his work with the Inter academy, but that squad contains 6/7 home grown players. I say that as if the suggestions I've read are true that by Christmas Pogba should he return would be classed as home grown for competition purposes of course.
No Januzaj, but Pereira that would be a interesting call seeing as both were called out for attitude issues under LVG. |

Good to see TFM and B-J in that list, I hope that we see more of them this coming season.

I think Mourinho is trouble he is divisive and arrogant without any redeeming features and his crass stupidity over the Chelsea club doctor incident proves to me he lacks maturity
and good judgement. |

It must be difficult for fans like yourself who have such a hatred for Mourinho and don't want him anywhere near Manchester United.
![]() ![]() I have said that he will get my full backing whilst he is here with us, until like with Moyes and LvG, he gives me a reason, or reasons not to. |

It's one thing to be unsure of an appointment, i felt that way about Moyes and to a lesser extent LVG, but batdude was tearing into Mourinho as soon as someone mentioned his name (and not just in this thread). That always seemed strange when he was hot favourite for the job for so many months. Why would a genuine fan of our club go so out of his way to portray the individual who was likely to be our new boss as the devil incarnate? Fair enough, have a gripe, but to go to the lengths he did was quite strange. Even stranger now he seems to have totally forgotten all the things he said and is now the guy's biggest cheerleader.

Again, not sure what's confusing you there. You were bad-mouthing Mourinho for months. Right up until he was appointed, in fact.

Why are you using these stupid confused emoji's again? Its pretty clear what was meant and it makes perfect sense.

To me that is the fair and just thing to do, I have not done anything or said anything (to my knowledge), that I said that I wouldn't do or say. I will not repeat myself about what my concerns were prior to his arrival, as I think most people know what they are or were, so they do not need repeating again. |

Hopefully Jose will prove his doubters wrong.
I was one of the last remaining Moyes out on here but probably amongst those who wanted LVG out earlier on last season. After the shit fest since Fergie left let's just pray this the one. |

Perhaps you could make your point with a detailed analysis of the profit generated available for acquiring new players. At least the Glazers appear to have plenty of reserves.

I am not his biggest cheerleader by any stretch of anyone's imagination, all that I have done, and it is something that I have said that I would do, even when I was being critical of him, is that I will get behind our manager until there is a reason, or reasons not to do so.

I never have and I never will. No amount of FA Cup semi final goals would change it so I'll never pretend to 'get behind him' although that's probably the safest place for a girl to be. |

Perhaps try the "General Transfer Thread" for this?! ![]() And in response to your next post, "I wasn't being nasty", whether you intend to or not the post seems unnecessary when the poster clearly just made a mistake. |

There's no need to get behind him. He's not your friend on Facebook, you have a locked Twitter account and I doubt he reads DS. Stick to your convictions and don't U turn. Jose doesn't give a flying **** about your opinion so keep your your beliefs.

If he gives us or myself cause for concern or worry, as over time both Moyes and LvG did, then I will voice my concern. Quote:
Bit unnecessary, don't you think? Clearly he just posted in the wrong thread. The confused smiley and redirecting him to go like you're in charge of this thread comes across as a little nasty.

Im not the one complaining that the club either has no money or they are wasting fortunes. You posted a profit and loss spreadsheet, its your responsibility to explain it if you want it to back up your argument.
Regardless of the specifics (lets keep it really simple) it does not need a member of PWC's finance team to see that £250m plus salaries to not get in the top four is a fairly poor deal. |
