batdude has his own company? i thought he said he was long term unemployed due to a mystery illlness??
I don't have my own company, but I did have something that hopefully has cleared up now.
I am in the middle of sorting out jobs, I hope that sorts things out.

Shaw played 5 league games!!!
They did look good together though, and it was a shame to have that partnership unfairly and unjustly broken up.

Hopefully they can click back into gear together again.

I was just thinking, looking at our striking options, transfer fee wise, (and if we are to say Martial is a wide left player), have we got the cheapest set in the league, as Ibra, Rashford, and Wilson (plus Keane as well) didn't cost us a single penny in transfer fees!

When was the last time we could say that about a set of strikers for any top club?!
Rooney.

It was a real shame he got injured when he did, he was just coming into his own and was forming a real partnership with Memphis hopefully he can come back and be the player he once was as he was a real talent as with an injury like the one he had there is always a doubt about whether he will be the same player as he once was.I hope he can help Memphis too, big season for both of them.

it would be nice to see, memphis, martial and mikitaryan playing around ZLAT.

He has a property business. I assume he means he can't go into the office on a day to day basis.

Edit only just spotted he's sold the business.

It was a shame he got injured but do you not think has become a bizarrely better player since he has been out? He played 5 league games last season and I see people talking as if his injury was responsible for just about everything hat went wrong. No matter how good he was in those 5 games its not much to go on!

'Seems to you', does it? I'd suggest that you pay closer attention, if you're that bothered.

Strange to see two players with the same number, Shaw and Bailly both have the number three on their backs!

I'm not referring to Shaw specifically but my son always refers to the fact that some players are regarded as much better players when they are injured.

Did you honestly not watch the games before he got injured (and we are not just talking about league games here, quite why you single those out I am unsure), as if you did you would have seen a partnership beginning to develop between him and Memphis.

It wasn't that long ago that after beating Wigan we got a trophy/Shield, how times have changed!

Good match overall, and a fair few positives to take from it.

Onto China and Dortmund next!

The state of Nick Powell

"I'll show United they were wrong to let me go by coming on and hacking at their players for the duration"

Clown.

I "singled those out" because I happened to know he played 5 league games but I've gone to check and he played a grand total of 8 games last season. I presume two of the extra ones were the clumping of Brugge plus the game he got injured in. Once again, that is next to nothing to judge anything on. You seem to have the idea fixated in your head that they were some sort of Neville / Beckham axis so there seems little point in trying to bore you with reality.

Shaw was easily our best player for those first few games last season. We'll never know if he's even close to that until season begins. Think it might help him in pre-season if someone clattered into him early because until it happens and he picks himself up his mind must be completely pre-occupied with "Oh ****, what if he dives in and tackles me?!?"

I see some bookies are taking bets on who'll be the first goalscorer of the Jose regime. My money's Mkhitaryan, he looks useful.

No, the Beckham/Neville partnership was one of, if not our best on that flank that I have seen in my own lifetime of following the club, so of course they were not up to that standard, why even mention that I think like that???

They were however beginning to form a good partnership, they were doing well together, surely if you had watched those games, then you would have been able to have seen this, that is the reality, there is nothing to bore anyone with by saying that.

Do you mean in actual competitive action, (so the Bournemouth game)??

As Will Keane scored the first goal today, and hence got the José regime underway.

Yes the first actual goal.

Kick-abouts in training or 11-a-side matches at Carrington don't count either.

I will go for Zlatan to score the winner in the Community Shield against Leicester, though i agree Mkh looks like he could be a great signing for us.

So, you are having a go at people who dislike that Giggs was shagging his brother's missus for 8 years and for questioning such a wreckless and carefree attitude.

I'm reading that right, my eyes aren't deceiving me are they?
I dont think youll find my post was aimed at anyone person in particular but yes, if you wish, im having a go at people that constantly complain about something that has literally zero effect on their own lives beyond it being some crap celeb gossip.

It's irrelevant. This isn't Coronation Street, we judge footballers but what they do on the pitch. Stop being so desperate to turn it into a soap opera where we all have a biscuit and a natter over a cup of tea.

If Beckham still played for us we'd be endlessly talking about his affair and his hair and his clothes and saying things like "Gosh you'll never guess who I heard he was getting close to? That one from Strictly. Ooh I know makes your blood run cold Mavis doesn't it. Ooh go on, have another custard cream. You see the way Luke Shaw does his hair? Bill from the salon says he's hiding his roots!"

Jesus forgive me, but I'm a football fan.
Basically...This.
