That cancellation is really annoying. I am now going to have to use up the time mowing the grass.. Looks like Saturday's game is MUTV only too but Chelsea and RM are free to watch with a satellite dish. That makes me think why did we not put in a bid for Willian, surely a better player than Pogba?

I really don't think he's a better player than Pogba and more importantly he's a very different player to Pogba - Willian wold have been signed instead of Mkhitaryan who was a hell of a lot cheaper and easier to get.

I don't think there are any centre midfielders on the level of Pogba who are available.

I hope that our transfer business is sorted out pretty soon, both in and out of the club, as surely we will not be keeping the squad as it is (plus maybe another addition or two), as it would be very bloated, especially for the central midfield positions.

There's over a month to go yet.

Jose reportedly said he wants all business done by the Ch Shield so he has his squad for the start of the season rather than 3 games in which is when the window closes. So in that case, as a week today it's August 1st ... that's less than 2 weeks.

The first league game after the window closes is against City.

I've got to the point now where I couldn't care less if we sign him or not.

It seems to be following the summers of Schneider/Vidal/Thiago in tediousness.

Obviously i'll be very happy if we do pull it off.

£84 they were. See that's knocked a cool £5 million off the disaster.

I feel very calm about things, if we get him i'll be delighted. However, if not, we've got a wide range of talented attacking midfielders and could possibly go for someone who is a more recognised defensive midfield specialist.

We have kind of shown our hand so to speak, if we don't sign him, and move onto plan B, then that club probably will jack up the price and ask for a crazy amount, due to seeing how much we were prepared to pay for Pogba.

Any regular Old Trafford goers know the best/easiest places to park when going??
I think constantly getting the train there will soon get annoying.

Cheers

Where are you coming from?

Cardiff.

Train takes 3-4 hours. Looking at potential Sunday kick off times and driving will be the only option.

I've just moved offices but worked about a mile away. I'll PM you. There was parking on the road there so I used to leave my car and wander up the dual carriageway.

Coming from that direction, or anywhere South and West, if you get there early enough then there's usually parking to the south of the cricket ground, around the Quadrant pub.

Today I learned that Anthony Martial has an ex-wife. I knew he was married, but now he's divorced.

At just 20 years old...

Apparently her liking a post from Zlatan's Instagram with his no. 9 shirt is considered mocking him, according to the FB clickbait pages.

Kids these days get divorced so young...

Social media eh?

I guess I must be getting old, as I really don't find who follows who, or not, all that exciting.

Well, neither do I, but then that's not what I was commenting on.

I used to park around there but the council have made a lot of it residential/no parking on match days.
You need to go a little further away from OT now, towards very end of Warwick Road South, Ryebank Road and near the Firswood tram stop, its a good 10-15 minutes walk from there to the ground but a straight line past the cricket ground

It was a very messy breakup. They both used Instagram a lot and had loads of pics of them and the baby then one day Mrs M changed her name and deleted every trace of him and sodded off back to France with baby Peyton.

The most unlikely thing ever to happen is a 20 year old Premier league married footballer remaining faithful. Nigh on impossible

Crikey, I hope it doesn't cause a dip in form. Then again, I don't suppose he'll have to wait long to find a suitable replacement... if he hasn't already.

Which was the reason for the divorce, allegedly.

Well I suppose there's not much else to do for 90 minutes when you're an attacker in an LvG team.
