Maybe give the guy more than 18 mins into his first match of pre season to start slagging him off though eh?
Lol, how many matches before I can then?

Id suggest at least wait until the season starts. Otherwise, its a tad pathetic, no?

I wouldn't say it's pathetic, it's just that almost every game I have seen him play for a while now has ended with him performing below average.

Amazing what a bit of attacking intent can do.

There's a trophy presentation and fireworks?

How wonderfully awkward.

Fellani ' s goal was very good, Valencia was decent and I echo the love for Rashford.

Valencia didn't have his usual 'about to take a maths test I didn't revise for' look on his face on either.

Players seem quite relaxed.

I know that it is only a friendly, but it is still nice to see that it is possible for us to score such a high number of goals in a match.

Yeah, as James said it's the attacking intent that's refreshing. We don't look like a team trying desperately to remember instruction every time a player touches the ball.

the first half today is a sign of things to come if mourinho persists with rooney and ibrahimovic up front, i have said it before and i'll say it again, the two of them are far too slow to play together and mourinho needs to come to terms with that quickly...

Think every player in the second half was available to lvg last year? BUt was nice to see the ball actually being passed with pace and forward rather than constantly sideways and slow.

jesus christ what is wrong with you people? It was both their first pre season game after not much training. At least give them a chance of 5 mins competitive action before jumping on them.

it doesn't matter how many games they play together, more games is not going to give either of them an extra yard of pace...

If the first half means a goal from Ibra every game, sign me up!

Not quite sure though what impact the two players you single out for a bit of criticism, had on our defence for conceding the goals that we did however.

Yes, having sat through so many 0-0's at half time last season, even going in 2-1 behind wasn't quite so bad, as at least we had scored!

Valencia looked very good I thought, I was very impressed by him, he looks to have found his old self from somewhere, I hope that he keeps this up!

we were crap in the first half with those two up front, no pace in behind, no runners, nothing. the pace of rashford completely changed the game, if you can't see that then i think a trip to specsavers is in order...

Crap! I didn't get to see the game! Did we get to see Sneijder in a United shirt, or not?!

you are obviously unable to debate my points so instead you resort to personal comments, your only response to my opinion that the zlatan-rooney partnership won't work is that im being negative. really, thats all you have got? i could quite easily make the opposite argument and paint you as someone that is unwilling to accept reality and that you have your head buried in the sand...

3 goals between them, wasn't it?

It might not work as a partnership, but I'll bow to the insight of multi-title-winning manager, Jose Mourinho, if it's all the same.
