Yes it would be good to sign him quickly instead of close to the window. But as the minutes tick by the possibility of him being signed closer to the end of the window increases, therefore we won't have signed him quickly when we want. I hope that when he does eventually sign he is able to quickly be eligible for selection, as that will be a positive thing.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, it would be good if we played well and didn't pick up any injuries, as injuries ahead of the new season is will be far from welcome news. Fitness is key above all else and if our players get even fitter than they currently are ahead of the new season then that'll be positive news. However if anyone of them don't come out of this game with improved fitness then that shall be negative news.
Let us hope that the outcome of all of the above is positive, as that'll provide a good, up-beat start to the season and hopefully aid us in getting three points we need next weekend rather than fewer than three points, such as one point or even no points, which would not be very good at all!
