When you sign up for 2015-16 Membership - you do so without the impression that your card details are going to be retained to be auto-charged at a later date.

You shouldn't have to purposefully opt out.

But then this is from the same commercial cretins who formed the Automatic Cup Scheme.

No pretence of outrage here at all.
Its a reasonably standard practice in the modern world designed to keep people who aren't very proactive in changing things. It happens with my car insurance every year because frankly I cant be arsed changing it.

You have been informed by Man Utd of what they are doing so I don't see the problem. If you want to cancel you are free to do so, and if you don't then do nothing. Administratively it makes total sense and business wise it makes total sense. For the majority of people they would renew it anyway so it takes the hassle away.

As if anyone needed confirmation about how the club treats us fans, I've just received this email about my membership.

Opt out? Opt out? It's theft FFS!!!

Matchday, anyone think that we can get through to the next round?

It will be a very tall order from this position, starting 2-0 down, my pessimism levels are very high.

It would be great to do so, but after how we played over at their place, I don't have much to try and get excited about.

If only your wish would happen!

As for my operation, sadly it seems what I was hoping for, and what the specialists say is best for me, are two different things, as I saw one yesterday, and they recommended something a bit different from surgery, so I will have to try this process rather than go through a needless surgery according to him.

Ahh well, I guess they are called specialists for a reason eh?!

Although I'm pretty sure your doing it on purpose, why the need to keep asking him question after question which then results in people complaining about it being his blog etc.

Again this is probably a pointless post as you know what you are doing.

As for tonight, I hope it goes to extra time. We need all the help we can get for Sunday!

I think you'll do us anyway. He'll probably get the starting eleven wrong or make some silly subs.

It would be nice to see you fail to qualify for the CL though!

That could apply to either of our managers!

I don't even know how we're still 4th to be fair, we've been poor for so long.

Quiet in here tonight lads. St Paddy's day enjoyment?

I had a shandy earlier to celebrate. Up an Irishman and all that.

More like low expectations. At best we'll be on a knife edge all evening and at worst we'll be either switching off after half an hour, already dumped out... or scared sheetless in the last 15 minutes as our remaining ten men cling desperately onto a 3-0 paper-thin lead.

On the other hand, look what Bayern did last night. Well maybe not.

Very risky posting in here these days due to the actions of a poster who we know is being very trigger happy. I think most are either banned or running scared.

So far I have only been banneed via the politics forum. Sadly the truth does not seem to go down well anywhere on DS.

Back to MU. I think we should all write our comments on tonight's game before it even starts and discuss them later. I don't think that the game will be too inspiring. I do however reemember United 0-2 down in Italy after only a few minutes and was so upset I went and hid in my greenhouse. Even more shocking I came back in later to find out that Keane had driven us to victory.

Maybe the team can show the same spirit tonight.

I don't quite know which poster you are referring to, but it is a great shame if people are staying away.

As for the game tonight, damn that thing called hope, it always appears right before match day, only to be cruelly smashed once the match is over!

I want to believe that we can do it, and qualify, but in my heart of hearts, I just cannot see us doing so.

I can't help but want to bang my head against a brick wall when I see a top class midfielder in Schweinsteiger and then Schneiderlin sitting on the bench while he starts Fellaini alongside Carrick. It's all just a bit bizarre.

Don't you? If you look at when these things are happening its VERY obvious.

I don't even try to work out Louis's thinking these days.

Fellaini must have some dirt on him.

.

Reminds me of the Greek legend of Pandora's Box. After all the evils had been let out (our results) Hope for the future was the only thing left. It will still be there in the morning.......

Our worst fears confirmed with that pairing.

He is definitely trolling the fans and laughing his head off.

Unbelievable.

I'm too depressed about our prospects to even make a post about them. Apart from this one, obviously.
