Yes it does. This was just a random general comment and not designed to be discussed in any depth. If you would like to discuss Bond villains it's best we do it via PM or in the Movies section

As for what was the point, I was only merely confirming the fact with an official press release tweet, so it wasn't spam at all.

If you or anyone else old prefer the link to the official website (which I am guessing would say the same or something very similar), then fair enough.

I just wish that it is made clear one way or the other.”

The distinction has already been explained in this post:

http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showp...postcount=6330

If you're posting an argument advanced by a journalist or a direct quote, it helps to link to the article or at least acknowledge the fact it's not your own work. If you're simply stating something as a matter of fact, 'Januzaj has moved to Sunderland', there is no need to post a link. Of course, an article (or even a tweet) that gives us more information on the transfer is welcomed. Hope that helps. If you require any further advice on this matter, I'd be happy to discuss it via PM. No need for it to clog up the thread any longer.

What a summer transfer window it was as well!

I can't wait now for tomorrow, and the Bournemouth match, even without Smalling and Pogba!”

Yes. Sunday's match with Bournemouth will be exciting.

I agree.

4-3-3, would of course be a tough one for Depay, but until that is confirmed or not, then at the moment e would have to suggest that Depay is still in the managers plans and thoughts.

Hopefully we have not seen the last of him, as I do honestly think that there is a pretty darn good player within him, and I hope that we don't give up on him just yet.”

I agree. Let's hope he gets off to a flyer.

Also, if you don't mind me asking, please try and use the multi-quote function in future. Please see the below instructions:

Quote:
“How do I multi-quote?

To Multi-quote, you need to hit the second button on the bottom right hand side of the post you wish to quote. It will turn red. If the box is red, it means that post will be quoted when you later go on to make your full reply. If you no longer wish to include a particular post, you can click the red button again and it will turn it off.”

Vague rumours from an Italian website that Juventus are looking at Herrera.

Wonder if we can tempt them with a half-broken German, instead?

Bonucci coming the other way would sweeten the deal.

If we chuck James Wilson in, you'd have to think that they'd bite our hands off.

From F365:

Quote:
“Jose Mourinho has contacted Youri Tielemans with regards to a move to Manchester United.

Anderlecht midfielder Tielemans is one of the most coveted young stars in European football, and has been linked with a move to Old Trafford previously.

The Belgian made his first-team debut at just 16, the age at which he also made his first Champions League appearance.

Tielemans has over 100 appearances in the Jupiler Pro League, and was voted Belgian Talent of the Year in 2014, as well as Belgian Young Professional Footballer of the Year from 2013 to 2015.

The central midfielder has also been called up to the national team, but is yet to make his Belgium debut.

According to Wisla Pulawy youngster Lukasz Plonowski, who began his career in the same youth system as Tielemans at Anderlecht, Mourinho has contacted the midfielder with regards to a Premier League move.

“Youri called me up recently and said: Lukasz, do you know who called me? Mourinho,” Plonowski told Weslo. “He asked if how I’d take the possibility to move to Manchester United.””

I think what we can learn from this is: If you have a secret, don't tell Lukasz Plonowski.

It certainly would.

If Ed could pull that one off he deserves a knighthood.

Ibrahimovic:

“I don’t believe there is anyone who could say ‘no’ to Manchester United,”

“Even the name sounds cool. It’s massive. It’s top level. I played for Barcelona and also for Juventus and Milan, it’s the same thing, but I think this could be one step more.

“Turning down a challenge does not exist in my world. I have been in every country, now England, and this is why I find the adventure cool. I came, I won, I went. Hopefully I can do the same here.

“Let’s see what happens. You never know. It could be more than two (years), it could be more than three, let’s see how long I feel like I can perform.

“I will not be somewhere only because I am Ibrahimovic. I will be somewhere because I can perform and bring results. It’s about coming and winning and making Manchester United shine again.”

I love this bloke. 'Even the name sounds cool'. Brilliant.

I just wish we could have got him a few years ago, so that he could spend more time here, as he might only be here for a few years at best really.

I like Tielemans, so I kinda hope you don't get him. Wouldn't he be competing with Pogba?

Yeah, he would be competing within our strongest department within our squad, not easy for or anyone else to hold down a spot there at the moment.

If we switch to a 4-3-3 it would be easy to fit them both in.

Would he really be ahead of Herrera, Schneiderlin, Fellaini, Mata etc?

There is a lot of people competing for a central midfield place, but even so it would be good to sign a highly rated young player.

Yes. Obviously. Why would the manager sign a player who was behind 4 others in the position he plays?

Those players are not exactly poor players, (well maybe Fellaini), they are very good players, so anyone we bring in surely has to be better than what we have already got??

And with respect to the young feller, he does seem to be highly rated, but is that really enough to warrant being in the side ahead of seasoned players like them?

Perhaps in a rotational role, along with our other highly rated young players already at the club, but I don't think he would go in ahead of them straight away.

How is questioning where a player would fit in, "nonsense"?!?

So you think the manager will sign someone then wonder why he signed him because he doesn't fit in and he has other players available?

No, not at all.

I am merely questioning where this player might fit onto the side if this supposed transfer were to happen, when looking at our current range of options in this players best role.

It is a crowded area in our squad, and anyone that we would potentially be signing, would have to be very good to compete with them.

Having not seen this guy play that regularly, it is hard to say if he has that required standard in him.

If he has, great news for us, if we were to sign him then.

So your point is "we should sign players that are good"?

Insightful.

But only when we have no players in a particular position, because if we already do have players in a position then there is no point as we have players in that position already. However, if the player is good then yes we should sign that player but how do we know if he good?

I can imagine Jose's face when the lad turns up and he realises that we already have players in that position.
