Well let's hope whatever team is put out today, the match goes better then the last early Saturday kick-off.

Beating the Champions (still feels strange writing that about Leicester) will not be easy by any means, so we will have to be in top gear to do so.

The team in full: De Gea, Valencia, Smalling, Bailly, Blind, Herrera, Pogba, Rashford, Mata, Lingard, Ibrahimovic

Rooney on the bench, with Smalling taking over the captaincy duties.

The other member of the bench are: Romeo, F-M, Carrick, Fellaini, Young, and Rojo.

Pogba looks so much better without Rooney in his way.

Wow, who would have thought a United team without Fellaini and Rooney would be able to play this well?!

Oh yeah that's right, everyone...except Tribec

Crisis! What crisis?

Bad news for Rooney and Fellaini though.

Don't discount that Leicester have been awful.

But it's a weight off our play not having Rooney.

So far, so good!!

There is surely no way Rooney gets back into this side now.

I will discount that actually, because they weren't awful before we scored. And the second goal and play just before that was incisive enough to create chances against any team.

Booooooooooooooooo no clean sheet.
TBF there's no stopping shots like that. Next goal should be ours though. There's absolutely no need for squeaky bum after that first-half scoreline.

It was a good goal no doubt, but it is always disappointing to concede a goal when a team is 4-0 up.

Not as much emphasis to get goals in the second half, but still a 4-1 win against the Champions is always good to see.

Yeah, anti-climatic second half, but it was only to be expected really. Herrera and Pogba really stepped up today, Zlatan led the line like a beast and nobody had a bad game.

Rooney clearly isn't finished, but I think he should be used mostly as a sub for Zlatan in future rather than the no 10 role.

Pity we couldn't add more goals, but that often happens when a team score a few in the first half as there's a natural tendency to ease off. Still a good win though and hopefully more of the same next week against Stoke to set us up for the two tough away games against Liverpool and Chelsea.

Zorya first of all, we need to get back to winning ways in that competition after that horrible defeat to begin with.

Leicester look like a bottom-half team this year. Back to life, back to reality.

But I don't care. Great performance and great to see Pogba on the scoresheet.

Good to see Chris with the armband,,,,,,though I thought with Rooney and Carrick not starting Chris had been demoted as 3rd captain by Mourinho in favour of Ibrahimovic?

So a draw would be nice in this upcoming Chelsea and Arsenal game, that would keep both of them behind us.

Ah well, I can't see Chelsea coming back into this, so back down to sixth we go.

We really need to go on a winning run of five or six games in the league, to really get back up there.
