We are now relying on other teams to drop points, more than we do, and we have to beat those teams above ourselves, which we haven't done so, so far, thus it is not being a "drama queen" at all, it is using commonsense and logic.
We are playing catch-up, and so far the omens do not look good about our chances of finishing in the top four.
The title seems out of our grasp now, as those teams like Arsenal, City, and even Spurs, do have players who look like they can score goals, and are doing just that, whereas we are most definitely struggling to do so.
If we were eight points behind one in form team, then it might be a little more palatable, but we are not, we are behind at least four teams fighting for those much converted Champions League places, so it just makes things that much harder for ourselves.
It might seem as if we might need to win the Europa League to get Champions League football next season.
Hopefully, I am wrong, and we can go on a winning run of five, six, or seven games in a row, as that is the sort of form that we need to do, in order to have a good chance of seriously moving up the league table, not just from seventh to sixth, as we had a chance of doing so today (but failing to do just that).
