Could be 19 to 31 tomorrow. That will seem even larger.

Evidently Schweinsteiger is in the squad for tomorrow.

Humm.....I don't see him in the starting eleven, perhaps a place on the bench in that case??

Surely we have found our best midfield pairing (Carrick, Mata, Herrera and Pogba)??

I think we'll win tomorrow but it's dispiriting to realise that even after the team above us lost, 2 points behind them is the best we can do and a drop to 7th is possible even if we win.

But... the fight-back begins! I hope.

Yes the league table is really annoying, as no matter how well we do, we just never seem to be able to quite close the gap enough to move up closer to the teams at the top.

I believe that we will win tomorrow, it is just how well Everton do as well, as it would be a right royal pain, to win, but to then drop down a place in the table!

No matter how well you do? You've won 1 game in the last 6. Change that and you might find your league position improves.

Our performances deserved far more than that points wise, it would be nice to see us get what we deserve one of these days, which is a thumping good league win.

I don't agree. You'looked flaccid and been hopeless in front of goal. I will concede you were better than Arsenal but that's not saying much!

We were better than Arsenal, Burnley and Stoke, but unfortunately we didn't get the maximum three points in any of those games, which we should have done, and on another day we would have.

You got the results deserved. You can't make the 'on another day' argument when it happens every week.

I wonder if this is to take Carrick's role in the team. I think Schwiny could do well in the role that Carrick has played in the last couple of games. Can we expect Carrick to play so many games in such a short period of time at this point in his career? We've tried most of the other midfielders in that role this season, why not Schwiny who has the experience and know how.

Carrick is injured, won't play today.

Neil Custis has tweeted that he has heard that Schweinsteiger is on the bench but Carrick is out with a slight strain.

On the bright side, we have 80+ minutes to turn it around.....

Miki must be wondering what more he has to do to start after that MOTM performance on Thursday.

Woeful start but plenty of time to turn things around...

Jose sent to the stands for kicking a water bottle.

Can't get a good stream so missed our goal but apparently it was a thing of beauty involving all 10 outfield players. Definitely signs we are on the up... but Rash should have buried his chance...that I did see

Absolute joke. I am not Jose's biggest fan and think he can be a colossal **** at times but being sent to the stands for that is ridiculous. Never see Klopp or Conte getting into trouble for their touchline animations, do you?

Tbh I think the refs and fa must be operating zero tolerance with him now.

So far yes and it could have been worse just then... don't know why we haven't been able to put this one away... every time the stream does clear up, we're doing the pressing and attacking even though the hammers are having a good few minutes...one thing I do know, Miki must start the next few games.

Surely there should be no doubt now that the players are the problem. How many excuses are going to be made for these guys? We've built nothing since Ferguson left. Mourinho as well is an embarassment to the club imo. Sent to the stands again, lost the plot at Chelsea and now is losing it here.

Another game we've dominated and made a pigs ear of finishing off.

Think this will be the theme for our year.

Sadly you couldn't be more right, we're an average bunch these days that enjoys the odd beauty like against Feynoord and such like.
