Time for Ed to have a word with Fergie me feels.... If Jose keeps getting sent to the stands, wonder if Fergie wouldn't mind being nominated a slot on the bench. So that should it happen he can come down and take charge of the bench. I don't think the referee's would be to quick sending Jose to the stands knowing it brings Fergie into play
Caught most of the second half, always find the foreign language streams work best on games where we aren't being shown on domestic TV. Had to endure the drivel that is BBC Radio London for the first half commentary, they couldn't be any more biased at all.

I mentioned Jones last week, but the defence hasn't looked that weak recently with both Jones and Rojo in the middle. Given a run of games and they can perform, from what I've read and heard Zlatan lost his man for the goal today, so till I'm see the goal I can't blame either of them two.

We were better than Arsenal, Burnley and Stoke, but unfortunately we didn't get the maximum three points in any of those games, which we should have done, and on another day we would have.
Being better requires scoring more goals than the opposing team!

Yep, in spite of our better play in recent weeks, there's definitely something missing still. Four successive home draws tells a story and if he can't fix it soon, we'll have to resign ourselves to being the best of the rest, this season. Top of the mid table.

Is it alright if I call these dropped points?

Damned disappointing either way, and we really are making it very hard for ourselves to get into even sixth.

Agreed. All those sides apart from Arsenal did a number on United. West Ham closed ranks in the second half and were happy with their point.

Tbh I think the refs and fa must be operating zero tolerance with him now.
Certainly feels like that.

You might have to give your all to the europa league as it seems the best way back to the championship league .

Incidentally when two teams seems to meet in a cuptie and league game within a few days you never seem to get the same results twice

I think it's now blatantly clear that Mourinho was the wrong appointment and he isn't going to do what needs to be done to get Manchester United back to the top.
The question is - who next?

Far too early to be saying such a thing.

Who exactly is see the right choice?

Keep sacking managers and we end up like City did before the investment arrived.

Very true we are miles away from were we should be to be honest especially with the money we have spent in the last 3 years. At the moment we seem to go one step forward then three steps background, really annoying being a Manchester United fan nowadays. I wouldn't say get rid of Mourinho yet, lets be honest who else is there we need to give him time to get us back to were we belong. I would also say he needs to curb his temper as constantly being sent to the stands is helping know one but that isn't going to happen as it isn't in his nature.

Agreed, jumping to conclusions at this stage like that is absurd.

We need to give a manager like him at least two seasons to see what he can get done.

I agree. The football is so much better than under either of the previous managers. We are in desperate need of a prolific striker as none of our current three can do it. Rashford is going through a poor run of form and neither of the others are scoring enough.

Absolutely right, especially someone like Jose Mourinho whose CV is one of the finest in football.

Everton have been appalling for weeks now. Perfect timing for them to turn into superhumans next Sunday.

Its a pity we can't play Jose upfront looking at the way he kicked that water bottle.

Our sorry lot need to have a million chances before they score.

Our play is good enough, and is far better in general terms, then a lot of what we have had to watch over the past three seasons, we are just not finishing off our chances.
If somehow we can rectify that part, then the points will come thick and fast, the problem is, we might have already dropped (if that term I'd allowed to be used) too many to make the top four places.

Stop trying to bait others into a response.

Without wishing to repoen the frankly tedious debate about dropped points, there's a fairly obvious difference between a draw at home to West Ham and a draw away at Liverpool.

Looking at how others have faired there , it's looking like a 3 pointer.

Impressive interview by Ander Herrera on MUTV after the match... not only frustration at another home draw after out-playing the opposition but his passion for the club and determination to put things right, even anger, he didn't hold back! If everyone reacts in the way he has reacted, it's got to come right before too long.

Ignoring the bit in brackets, the rest is a pretty accurate summary IMO.I still think we're on course to win the title next season. As for now, while I understand Jose wanting to ease Miki in, he's got to start more often for me. We need goals and he's a goal-getter.

Lastly, also agree with Tribecs praise for Rojo and especially Jones, who, despite looking a little rusty at times, has slotted back into defence with a minimum of fuss.
