I actually thought yesterday was Pogba's worst game for a while.
Quote:
I'm not disagreeing, but that could be said about most of our players on Sunday, we played below recent performance levels but were still better than Everton. We can't play a blinder every week and not win, yesterday was just an OK 'not win'.What did I just say? It's getting very confusing these days with all these 'shoulda won but didn't' matches, not to mention frustrating.

Why? WIll you be going or is it yet another pointless platitude that actually means nothing?
A couple of years back they were raving about Adnan Januzaj and Park despite being told that they may look good on the telly but live when watched they were terrible. off the ball. Where are they now? Same with Pogba, absolute rubbish Its common sense that you cannot rate a players appearance from a crappy stream or tv view. |

Are you new here? Something like 95% of the posters on this thread have never been or ever go to Old Trafford.

yeah you can definitely see a weird distortion of views for those that only watch on telly.

Most of our fanbase I would say don't go to Old Trafford regularly, so quite why it is as seen as a negative, or a way to have a go at someone is beyond me.

I'll assume that your views on Inter, and Italian football in general, are 'weirdly distorted', then. can i have my net back? |

Going to matches helps make a judgement of a player, but that doesn't mean that your views will be matched by others. However, if you've been to enough matches or played the game to a certain level, you can see what you want from watching TV. Strange isn't it how the most watched football show in the country uses pundits who only watch the games on the TV rather than being at matches. |

Looks like you might be losing Young and Fellaini in January. Do any of you care?

I think that they could both be effective, at the right club.
I'd be happy to keep Young around the place, he can be a useful option occasionally. Wouldn't blame him for wanting a move, though. |

How do people think the match will pan out tomorrow?
I hope that we can at least get the draw that we need to get through to the next round. Be very interesting to see what sort of team José picks, as a few younger players have made the trip. Speaking of the younger players, I see that F-M took Ibra's book to read on the journey out there, that must have been a tad bit strange, seeing a team mate read your life story! |

Players like Young, Schneiderlin, Memphis and Svhweinsteiger need to move on for the sake of their own careers, as they are certainly not doing much here with us.
Where should they go? |

The same Schneiderlin and Memphis that you were adamant shouldn't be allowed to join Everton?
Where should they go? |

If they do have to go, then I would prefer it if they were loan deals, rather than permanent deals, because I do still have a tiny amount of faith in them.

What if a club, say Everton, aren't interested in loan deals and slap some cold, hard cash on the table?

I think there have been a few clubs linked with both of them. I'd rather it was a loan deal just because I'm frightened of selling either coming back to bite us.
I can see some merit in loaning Depay, but it'll obviously depend on another club wanting to take him on loan. If a permanent deal is all that's on offer, I can see us taking it. |

Our match has been given the go ahead after a pitch inspection this morning.
Just got to hope that we don't pick up any injuries from it, as by the sounds of things, it seems to be a rock hard pitch. |

At least you know what teams have dropped in from the champions league now , winning the group will get you seeded and maybe an easier tie in the next round
I am far more concerned about not picking up injuries in this match. A nice little 0-0 draw with everyone coming out unscathed would do me fine right now. |

This is a dangerous match for us, in more ways than one. The temperature is currently 0 C to -1 C, the pitch icy below the top surface, and light snow is forecast later, with a biting wind over 20 mph (feels like -8C). Takes place in Zaporizhia due to the war zone further east.
I don't like this one at all, not one little bit, and the risk of zero points and injuries is plain to see. Spurs who played last night in balmy London must be dancing with glee. UEFA idiots. |
