Man united fans are some of the best away fans I've seen and it's been impressive the support for the team and the previous two managers at old Trafford. Not necessarily with electric atmospheres, but a lack of getting on the managers back which just adds pressure all round.

Unfortunately booing seems to have become standard these days, Leicester fans boo their team, a home team losing at half time often go off to a chorus of boos even if that team is on a good run. Felt a bit for Fellaini, but as someone said above, the booing was a minority and got drowned out quickly.

I disagree with booing Fellaini. He shouldn't be anywhere near a United shirt but that's not a decision any of us can make, so when he's wearing one, we need to support him. Quite how booing him during a warm-up is supposed to improve his performance is beyond me.

Having said that, I'm not totally opposed to booing in general. If a team has put in a totally abject performance at half-time then it is only right the paying fans express their opinion.

Absolutely nothing to do with the fact its been mentioned in every report since the draw was made though?

No, as I only posted on here when I heard of the draw, and not seen any of the news reports or anything of the kind.

Good, I am glad, as that is just what it is, the truth.

To be fair to Batty, the first thing I thought of as Andersson opened the paper and I saw the name was of the riots back in 77. I just about remember the riot itself, but I was a youngster back then. However, Home Park is that odd trivia question answer that sticks for United home grounds, and has come in handy at the odd quiz or two.

You were a youngster, According to Batdudes profile he wasnt even born.

We can all "recall" things we have read today and pretend we knew all about them. Its still rubbish and rather sad to do so.

It probably wouldn't have raised an eyebrow, if he didn't 'recall' obscure things from years ago with such regularity.

On a more football related note, such a shame for such a talented group (especially going forwards), but we are out of the FA Youth Cup tonight, getting beaten 2-1 at Old Trafford by Southampton.

Chong a second half sub, got an outstanding goal to put us one nill up, but we conceded two very late goals to get beat in the end.

I was not born in the 70's, correct, but why should that stop me from knowing about things that happened with regards to the club before 1984??

Should I only know things after that date??

I just don't understand why you are going after me, for what is such a trivial matter.

Do we think it will be a kind of straight swap in terms of the team who will start against Palace, Mata in for Miki?

I'm pretty certain that it'll be Mata, Lingard, Rooney or Rashford.

I've a feeling that he'll go with Lingard. He's the most 'like-for-like' candidate.

I wonder if Carrick will get a breather over this busy Christmas period, if so, when?

Lingard would be good, got to keep our ex player Zaha at bay, and perhaps matching pace with him might be the best idea.

I would also quite like to see Bailly eased back into the side, perhaps instead of Jones, although both Jones and Rojo have been good as of late, so it would be a tad harsh on either.

I wouldn't be hugely surprised to see Carrick miss out tomorrow, to be honest. I'd rather see him in the side, mind.

If it wasn't for Benteke, I'd be adamant that Rojo and Jones should continue, but Bailly's extra height might be beneficial. Mourinho might go for Rojo at left-back, but I bloody hope not.

Think Bailly will play seeing as he missed yesterday. Like Jim, I wouldn't be surprised to see Carrick miss out.

What is the situation with Shaw does anyone know? Has he picked up an injury, or is he just out of favour at the moment?

Who would you drop or move to accommodate Bailly coming back into the side, Rojo or Jones?

I thought that he was injured, rather than being out of ravoyr.

Shame really, as we do with him at left back, then we could get what I would personally class as near to our first choice defence as possible.

I'd be playing Darmian, Bailly, Rojo and Blind at the back, in this one.

Shaw's been pretty underwhelming, this season.

Bit hash to drop Jones, but I suppose he could get injured at any moment, so best to rest him while he is not!

With Bailly preferring the right side and Rojo preferring the left, I think that the balance is better than playing Bailly and Jones.

What would be the best pairing to use once Smalling is fit?

Bailly and Smalling, or Bailly and Rojo? Or a different combination?

Hard to select the best pairing I think.

Smalling will have to prove his worth to start again.
