Definitely no predictions! I'll be as nervous as hell unless we go 3 goals up (unlikely) and Rojo survives the first half without a red card (possibly even more unlikely ).

Five Live worked out an interesting comparison table tonight on the football show, rating each PL team's 4 match Christmas programme for difficulty, based on the league position of all their opponents. I can't remember who is top (hardest fixtures) but I did notice who is bottom (easiest fixtures) because it's United!

As you can see, I don't know whether to laugh or cry...

I think we might struggle, a draw for me, 1-1.

I hope and pray that I am wrong, and that the second goal v Palace, is the start of us scoring multiple goals in a match on a more regular basis, as it is an area where we have struggled this season.

I will stick to the rules, "talk of banned members is not allowed", so until a person is unbanned, and so hence free to be talked about, then I will not risk a ban!

You wouldn`t be banned from your own blog!, a lot of folks get banned from interacting with you, dude.

My own blog?? I don't have a blog that I am aware of anyway!

Ohh right, hang on, you are making a poor attempt at humour about this being my blog, right, well it most certainly is not.
It is for as many people as possible to use, I am but just one person, no more important than anyone else, in terms of being part of this community here.

If people have got bans subsequently to interacting with myself, than that is not my fault, I am not part of the moderating team who decides such things. I have no power to make anyone banned, so why put this at my door or feet?
I am sure peopl who have been banned have interacted with other people not just myself, so why not spread the so called blame around, if that is your wish to do so?

I would to be honest, Antonio has done well there but isn't a right back for me. Decent short term option but I'd rather play Darmian there or better yet buy a better one

That goal was classic United. Burned down the wing, into the box, back of the net.

Not bad for no wingers!

Just got in from the xmas shop and this is a pleasing scoreline. Actually thought we'd be lucky to get a draw out of this one, the way Albion have been grinding out results. I see f-196 really rates one of our goals. How have we played?

Fantastic result, real momentum building now. Zlatan is a beast and great touch by Pogba and the rest of the team at the end.

Very good, professional performance against a team who'd been in good form. Getting the 2nd goal makes things so much easier, never looked in any danger of throwing that one away.

Fantastic performance today, we were in complete control from the first whistle, Zlatan is amazing at 35 to be performing at that level in a new league superb, i just wish he was 5 years younger. I think Pogba, Herrera, Carrick and Rooney all played well though i wish Wayne would get those 2 goals to surpass Sir Bobby's all time goal scoring record and get that monkey of his back. I think at long last we are going in the right direction, the first time since Sir Alex retired, there is still a way to go and we are too reliant on Zlatan scoring our goals we need to spread them around the team more. All in all pleased with today, still room for improvement but it is a start.

Terrific, and a much needed three points!

Not too far off from fourth place currently!

The second goal is vital, so often we have not got it, and it has come back to bite us in the behind, today just showed how important it is to get it.

Once again, Carrick plays and we win, I think we have won all but one game (and even that was a draw I think), it shows how vital he is still to us.

We go into the break with some real momentum behind us, and with a few hopefully winnable games on paper to come.

And yet, and yet, it was less than 2 weeks ago when someone posted this -Can you guess who it was?

The top five positions are out of our reach now, we are in a battle with the rest are f the club's around us for sixth spot, which really is shoddy, considering the amount of cash spent last summer.

Maybe if you didn't spam the forum with every thought that comes in your head, your inconsistencies wouldn't be shown up as regularly as they are.

As I have said in the other thread when this point has been put forward, I have also said that we needed to go on a run of five or six wins in a row to really put pressure on the teams above us, and we are currently in the process of doing something like that, so why not reference that, rather than looking to try and have a go at me?

Why try and be so negative?

Pretty much what I thought, as you were insisting that the 'top 5' was 'out of reach', a couple of weeks ago.

Fair enough, since we have gone on this run of wins, things have started to somewhat look up, we could do with a few results going our way tomorrow to really make things look better than they do currently.

How much a Spurs defeat and a draw between Arsenal and City is likely, well I wouldn't like to say, (plus an Everton win on Monday night), but it sure would be nice to see.

Good win in what looked like a tricky fixture. Fingers crossed but it looks like we're over the worst, playing well and we're finally stringing some wins together. The next few fixtures are very winnable too, including home games against Sunderland and Middlesboro over Christmas.

A nice bit of appreciation from Rio about Carrick:-

So a few weeks back I talked about Zlatan's performances, i'll now say they have improved. If he isn't scoring his game seems to nose dive, so it's certainly good he's in the goals right now.

Another solid team performance and a clean sheet. No matter what people have said about individuals in the past, but all the sums of the part that make up our defence are doing very well. Dealing with the likes of Kane and Benteke with ease.

We're hitting our stride at the right time of the season for sure.

Next run of games look eminently winnable. Just in the Premier League these are our next ten games:

Sunderland (H)
Boro (H)
West Ham (A)
Liverpool (H)
Stoke (A)
Hull (H)
Leicester (A)
Watford (H)
Man City (A)
Bournemouth (H)

Liverpool and City aside, those are all very winnable ties. And even then Liverpool and City are far from untouchable.

13 points from our next five games is an achievable and realistic target that would leave us in a strong position.

That City game will get moved if we're in the League Cup Final.

Anyone know where the best place to park at now for a game as i am taking the kids down to their first game on Boxing day.
I haven't been down to a game for about 6 years and that was on the supporters bus.
There used to be loads of parking years ago before area was totally redeveloped.
