I wouldn't...if both go, that could be £100 million +...in addition to whatever the new guy puts in. Personally I would rather not sell Lukaku, but if he is unhappy, want's to play CL football, then it is better to sell the player, rather than keep him on the books. Stones I am really not fussed about.

One thing though, this summer will be very interesting in the transfer market, looks like most of the top teams will need to spend big, some more than others...then the likes of Everton with new money, West Ham will be wanting to strengthen as will Leicester.

It's possible but as we are so consistently inconsistent I don't really have faith that we will do it.

Certainly I agree that you could get quite a substantial fee for both of them, but with the new investment saying such things as they are looking to improve Everton, and not become a selling club, then that does go someway to putting pressure on them to not sell two of your prized assets.

Obviously you know far more about the situation then I do or will, but from a purely outsider perspective, I would still be shocked if both were sold on the same window, as it would not exactly paint you in a good light, in terms of looking to be a progressive club.

I agree with you on the general point of this summers window could be a very busy one, and that there are quite a few teams that will get looking to do business, and with all of this extra cash coming their way, we could be in for some fun and games!

West Ham have I think a better chance than we do of finishing in fourth place, but it is not totally, 100% out of the question that we can finish there, whilst the gap is as small as it currently is.

Oh I am sorry for feeling down and very disheartened about getting beat in Europe by Liverpool, I must remember that it meant nothing, and I should have just felt nothing over that particular result and the effect it had on us exiting European competition.

If being down about that, and having that affect my mindset at the time makes me strange, then so be it, as I not going to apologise (for once) for getting down about getting beat by Liverpool, it hurts me when we do, it hurts a lot.

Just as beating another rival in City also means a lot, again I am not going to apologise for enjoying that particular result, it was great!

The gap being just one single point does give us an opportunity, just as it gives West Ham an opportunity, and of course City an opportunity to all fight for that crucial fourth place.

Results will have an effect on how people (not just myself) view who will finish where, even more so as the games run out.

I also didn't say anything about enjoying a result or being disappointed about a defeat either. Its your extremes. Last week we were a disgrace and an embarrassment and marching backwards at full speed, now you are saying we may qualify for the CL!

With is being as inconsistent as we have been, thinking more than one game ahead is pretty much impossible to do, as due to that inconsistentcy, it is hard to tell just which side will turn up, the good or the bad.

One point unless I am missing something, is only a small margin, and so therefore we do have a chance of getting that fourth spot, but it all depends on our results, as with everything.
So the only match that matters in getting that fourth place, is the Everton match, win that, and we are still very much in the race for Champions League football next season, draw or get beat, and we had the advantage to other teams around us, as it is just so very close, and very hard to call at thus stage.

With our inconsistentcy this season, it is hard to know just which side will turn up at any given time or match, hence it is so hard to predict just where we might or will end up at the end of the season.

We have had so many poor results and poor performances that it is quite amazing to think that we do still have a chance of making the top four.

Results are the deciding factor in my opinion as to where we might very well end up, and currently we are in a good position to get a top four place, but one slip up, and that does allow others to take advantage, such is closeness in points of the teams around us.

I certainly hope that I can be taken seriously, as I only use commonsense to form my views, such as results and our performances as of late, and so far both have been all over the place, so it is hard to predict anything at the moment!

You could easily program an automaton to say 'yay, we r good, i would say' after a win or 'boo, we r no good, i would say' after a defeat. Or perhaps 'Southampton are better than us' when they're above us in the league and 'We are better than Southampton' when they fall below us.

Though having said that a guy I used to know, Friend of a friend of a friend type thing, used to have a huge sense of self importance just because he was the guy that opened up the leisure centre and put the five a side goals out.
