We have gone a bit quiet, we need to get the tempo up a bit again, and get Martial involved more.

Should of been two there, we need to calm down and get back into the game otherwise we will be out of this tie.
Sorry to be so negative but Liverpool have this tie won. |

De Gea our best player so far, which is not that unusual against Liverpool.

Why the hell is Memphis still taking free kicks?

That free-kick sums up things so far for Memphis.
It would be nice to get a shot on target before half time. |

Rashford wears the number 39 shirt, just 28 numbers away from the number worn by the legendary Ryan Giggs who wore 11.

We are out anyway. A team full of confidence scoring goals for fun, against one who thinks pointless possession is all you need.

Not watching as don't have BT Sports but apparently we're getting absolutely duffed. Can those watching live confirm if this is true?

This is a wholly unacceptable performance by non-DDG players and managers.
Fortunate to have a god for GK or else the tie would be over. |

Under SAF yes, under LVG, we have no chance. |

Ref played a decent advantage there. He'll probably book himself for not booking the player sooner. Bookings for everyone!
How many yellow cards in a game already with barely a tackle of note. |

We are making them look good, and De Gea is keeping us in the tie, nevermind the first leg, so yeah not much is going right for us so far.

Ouch. That was a painful watch.
Doesn't really matter how well you press there's only going to be a negative outcome if you have no outlet. We've been awful going forward and had it not been for the wonderful DDG we'd be 4-0 down by now.. Memphis really has had a shocking first season. He's not just underperforming, he's utterly useless in every way. |

That was a 1-0 annihilation. If they could finish for shit, the tie would be over.
It's time for our tactical genius to get to work and turn the tide. Swap the full backs anyone? |

The only positive out of that first half is the fact we are only 1-0 down, terrible display all round, if we don't improve in the second half it will be 3 or 4 nil at full time.

We surely cannot keep on relying on De Gea to keep us in this tie, we need to up our performance levels drastically to get back into this first leg.

It would be nice to see Lvg throw away the brief case and the files and start Barking instructions in the technical area. Great managers life SAF, Clough and Shankley didn't remain as stuffed dummies on the bench.
