To be honest I don't think we can make conclusive assumptions on who needs to go or not, because the setup is such a shambles and the confidence isnt there.

Personally, I think Lingard has done well and Schweinsteiger deserves another season to see if he can sustain a run.

Rooney may well perform better with a different "philosophy" too. He simply cannot be up top on his own and whoever is leading our attack rarely gets any service because of our pathetically slow and predictable play.

Fellaini is not up to playing for us and we do not want to adapt our play to a style that suits him, in all honesty.

Carrick could potentially stay but only as cover and he really shouldn't be counted upon for any high pressure games. He is not a regular first teamer anymore and he needs to accept that.

But our season has been so borked that I feel we could be talking about some of these guys completely differently with a different manager and system.

There is no irony there, just plain old honesty.
Absolutely no self awareness at all is there

I think Carrick is done tbh. Is Fellaini on the final year of his contract next season ? If so then I can't see him running it down. There has been interest previously. So that's two possible players who could easily move on.

If man city win the champions league and finish in the top 4 and we finish 5th. Would we get the champions league spot?

Well if there was no self-awareness you're not exactly going to admit to it since that'd require self-awareness.

I think we are moving slightly away from the point at hand there somewhat.

Tbf considering the money they've spent they have underachieved, so it's not before time.

You'd be forgiven for thinking they have made the final the way some are acting. Although considering that according to certain prophets on here city were definitely out before a ball was kicked I suppose it could be understandable,

Let's drop it before it gets too personal, and move on to talk about the football (as bad as it as the moment).

It doesnt seem that long ago that many of their fans were even arsed about being in Europe.

Now the traffic problems appear to have eased.

You made the somewhat inappropriate remark, so let's move on.

Will Rooney start the match against West Ham, or will he be on the bench?
