The last few days pretty much sums up our season. Winning away to West Ham in the FA Cup replay, when most people were predicting we'd lose. Then struggling to beat the most useless team in the PL at home!

![]() They have a point. I'd forgotten this was a team that had 14 points from the whole season - and it was at Old Trafford! Embarrassing, really. Yet it's probably the sort of thing Van Gaal approves of. He doesn't seem to like scoring goals beyond enough to ensure a 1-0 win. |

That was the game when Berbatov got five goals wasn't it?
Unbelievable to think how far we have sunk since then. We would be lucky to have seven shots on target in seven games nowadays! Those were the days when lowly teams probably arrived quivering in dread of what was going to happen to them, and were probably relieved if they didn't lose by too many goals. But these days ... yes, I think there's been a few games where United have mustered up about 2 shots on goal over 90 odd minutes. And Old Trafford is a Come and Help Yourself ground now. |

Looks like Arsenal are the team we're chasing now for that fourth spot. I can see City finishing strong and winning all their remaining games, just like last season. I think ultimately we'll miss out though and finish 5th, and then it will be bye bye LVG.

Europa League football it will be then, still it will kind of be good to play some different teams, as long as there is no long trips to the far side of Russia or beyond. |

The most dangerous football team on Earth is an Arsene Wenger Arsenal side that has the possibility of missing out on fourth place. |

We can forget fourth then.

I'm clinging onto the hope that City get distracted by their European adventure and take their eye off the ball in the league.
I just assume City will be making sure they are in the Ch League next season via the PL because they obviously aren't guaranteed to win the Ch League and they won't want Pep arriving and not having the Ch League to play in. And lets face it, they're more than capable of making the top 3 never mind the top 4, specially if Arsenal continue to do their usual bottling job. If United manage to catch anyone, it's more likely to have to be Arsenal than City. |

Apparently season ticket deadline day has been pushed back to June 1st.
(from May 20) Wonder why. |

Low sales according to Red Issue
MUFC ticket office source tells us: "2017 season ticket sales only 3500 as of last week - well down on last year. New sales non-existent." I remember reading last season they sold out in record time because United were back in the Champions League! |

Hopefully Jose has already been signed up. Poch hasn't won anything yet.
I know no one believes what managers say, but he said earlier this season he wants to create a legacy at Spurs. He'll certainly get the chance to. |

Palace coming up, after their draw at Arsenal, and our shoddy victory over Villa, can we beat them?
They will not be an easy nut to crack, another rip roaring game then I think! |

I'm beyond caring what we do in the league now. Only the FA cup holds any interest for me.
The end of the season can't come quick enough. Looks like PSG might be interested in getting José, although he has said previously that he would get boared in a one team league, he likes excitement and a challenge. Improving on a +30 points difference between first and second would I don't think interest him, so we are still in with a shot if we did want him. |

Yeah I know what you mean, the only thing keeling me excited in this run in, is the form of our youngsters, in the shape of Rashford and Mensah, and perhaps the chance to see Shaw maybe partake in one or maybe max two games before the season finishes.

In fact any half decent team that are in need of a good manager. |

The end of the season can't come quick enough . Ironically I think last season the hope was, as the season ended, that that was just a bad first one for LVG's first season, he'd managed to get us into 4th and next season it would be all guns blazing to challenge for everything. Instead ... it's been a very bad 3 years. I'm sure most of us knew it might be a bit different - to say the least - after Fergie, just to get used to the whole new world of no Fergie after 25 years, but I doubt anyone thought things would be as bad as they've been. And it was only when I saw on another board earlier that someone referred to giving away his ticket for tomorrow, that I realised we were playing tomorrow night! I actually had to look it up to see who it was we were playing! |
