Why do we play every bloody corner short?

Wouldn't surprise me if Everton show up play out of thier skins and win the match at the weekend.

It would sure be nice to get to the final though. |

3 well earned points and a solid performance. Everton embarrassed is a nice little cherry on top.
A satisfactory evening. |

Another clean sheet is always a good thing, hopefully Rashford enjoys his first taste of Wembley.

Yeah they will want to get this defeat out of their system pretty quickly, fear the backlash.
It would sure be nice to get to the final though.

This may shock a few people, but after a solid performance and 3 well earned points, credit to the back four tonight for the excellent work, however big shout outs to Valencia and Smalling in particular, nothing outstanding, but very good tonight.
Strangely whilst the front 3 may not look like scoring through out the match, I actually enjoyed the work rate and the over all movement of them all. Lingard has his bashers on here, but he compliments Rashford and Martial well, whilst also being able to interchange with Mata. |

Glad we finally sacrificed a DM.
Sounds like Speroni had a storming match to keep us out. |

Might be showing up without Martinez if Everton fans have their way. Almost 97% want him gone at the time of writing this.
Funny how happy they were during his first season and keen to rubbish Moyes's time there. |

I can't see them sacking Martinez before Wembley, as poor as they were tonight, and recently.

Me neither really. Still, that's a very one sided poll as far as polls go, even at around the 93% it is now. They're not happy at all.

Quite a few empty seats at OT tonight.
Season ticket renewal deadline date moved back. |

Cheer up, NN! ![]() Jose appointed Top 4 as long as LVG buggers off with his Zopiclone Football. Then I'll be as happy as a pig in shit!

The problem with trying to finish 4th is that it's not in United's hands (on the assumption they manage to win all their games of course!)
If you get yourself in that position, there's not really anyone else to blame if you don't do it. I get the feeling the season could end a bit like 11/12 did. Pipped at the post at the last minute! |

No one cares what the fans want. Look how many United fans want rid of Van Gaal, and for how long they've wanted rid of him! He's still there.
Look at the walkout Liverpool fans staged a few months back in regards to ticket prices. Money talks! |

The highlights programme on Sky Sports.
An hours coverage of the West Ham/Watford game. United's game got 20 minutes. The Merseyside Derby - which was on live earlier - seems to be getting over 30 minutes. And of course, no more United games on live for the rest of the season. Times have definitely changed. |

If fans vote with their feet at a club of our size it sends a message. I don't recall empty seats for a league game as many as there were tonight.
Look at the walkout Liverpool fans staged a few months back in regards to ticket prices. Money talks! I saw two tweets before from United fans who had tickets who wanted to get rid of them and literally couldn't even give them away. |

True. I mean, there's little point going and walking out because they club have already taken your money, but staying away in droves - which United fans did tonight - was very noticeable. Starkly noticeable.
I saw two tweets before from United fans who had tickets who wanted to get rid of them and literally couldn't even give them away. I'm not an advocate of this so called United way, I think it's a bit of a marketing gimmick tbh but fans want to be entertained not fall asleep. Still think that Leicester game was instrumental in our negative football. It would be funny if we put a spanner in their works in a few weeks time considering the hero worship Vardy gets. |

It would indeed, and we are perfectly capable of doing just that! In fact, we may have to, to even finish 5th., the way WHU are playing, I see they have crept ahead of our goal difference now.
Though I suspect the other top 4 positions will go to City and Arsenal, in the end. Arsenal are almost programmed to finish 4th these days. To me, the rubbish we've played most of the season is what will ultimately cost the 4th place, which is reason enough for Van Gaal to go, cos he'll just dish up the same stuff next season. |
