I would keep Memphis, I still think that there is a player in there, that with a more attacking minded manager, that he could benefit from the change.

Another forward to compete with the three we have (presumably with Wilson either being sold, or loaned out again), would be a good idea.

Would you get rid of Jones, to make room for a new central defender?
I would keep both Memphis and Darmian. One season isn't enough to judge a player.

Not sure where Jones is contract wise but I certainly wouldn't be renewing. Never fit.

Fellaini!!!

Thought he'd keep Darmian too but maybe rest and fitness has affected things after midweek.

1 de Gea
51 Fosu-Mensah
12 Smalling
17 Blind
5 Rojo
27 Fellaini
16 Carrick
35 Lingard
10 Rooney
9 Martial
39 Rashford

Substitutes

7 Depay
8 Mata
20 Romero
21 Herrera
25 A Valencia
28 Schneiderlin
36 Darmian
5 players on the bench who should be starting. Fellaini and Carrick in the middle is going to be shit.

Strong bench though.

Everton will go for a early goal out-pacing the ponderous Carraini pairing, and if they get one park the bus, I reckon. That team doesn't fill me with confidence at the moment, I hope I'm completely and utterly wrong.

If LVG has got this one wrong, he will be ripped to shreds.

Carrick in midfield?! With no Mata or Herrera or Morgan?

Bloody hell. What the hell goes through Van Gaal's brain?

Stupid question really. More turgid boredom by the sound of it. Stil, I could do with a sleep, it's been a long day.

Let's just hope Martial and Rashford can get the goals to hide the crap.

The bench is stronger than most of the team.

Nice of Liverpool to drop two points, hopefully that means we will finish ahead of them come the end of the season.

0-0 at half-time time followed by us winning one nill with the only shot on target all game?

I wonder what the odds are on that?

That's what I said would happen against Villa.

If it goes to penalties we're sunk anyway.

Well turns out to be the right move, Fellaini has scored and put pressure on the Everton defence.

I just never want that man in our team and will always believe that having a creative player alongside Carrick is the way to go.
Not a galumphing great oaf
It's typical that he scored after I wrote that of course
