Two dropped points at home by Liverpool in the league keeps them well at bay, so a good day all round!
Not 100% a good day, as City did unfortunately win, but I can live with what went down today.

I think you purchase them with money.
Hilarious. Was referring more to how I cannot find anywhere to purchase them or even know if they have gone on sale yet. Google doesn't help.

Just thinking about things, that Rooney clearance off of the line in the first half, brought back memories of when Cantona did the same about 20 years ago at Villa Park against Chelsea I think it was.

Long time lurker - first time posting in this thread.....

My husband and daughter are season ticket holders (and were at Wembley today - in fact still haven't made it into the tube station yet when I last heard) - and the process for getting their tickets for today was convoluted. Utd had an allocation of about 35,000(ish) tickets and they were allocated firstly to Executive club holders, and then to season ticket holders. The number of FA Cup/Champions League/Europa League games you had attended counted towards the pecking order for the season ticket holders; with those who had been to the last ten home games getting first dibs, then nine games, etc. I don't think many (if any) went on general sale - and it will be worse for the final as I think the two teams taking part get a smaller allocation of tickets than for the semis.

Plenty of face value tickets on sale at wembley today. Its worth paying extra to park right next to the stadium!

Reports from Portugal saying Jose has actually signed something now as LVG states he is not looking past the final.

There were some rumblings from the Portuguese press this morning that suggested a done deal with Jose.

Curses - I could have gone too! I'm first reserve with the season tickets, but needless to say they both wanted to go today.

I do follow him, but was a tad busy a few hours ago, so I wasn't checking my feed then.

It was the thing that sprang to my mind, when I was going over the highlights.

I'm glad Martial got the winner, he was on another level to every other outfield player today.

That was never going to be a match they would lose points from, their tricky matches will be here soon enough, though!

Ahh glad that you are here, have you had time to think about the three players that you would like to see brought into the club, or at the very least, which positions those three should be in?
Not sure why you're so interested in my opinion, but I think that we need a right-back, a central midfielder and a striker. Happy now?

Carrick in midfield?! With no Mata or Herrera or Morgan?

Bloody hell. What the hell goes through Van Gaal's brain?

Stupid question really. More turgid boredom by the sound of it. Stil, I could do with a sleep, it's been a long day.

Let's just hope Martial and Rashford can get the goals to hide the crap.

The bench is stronger than most of the team.
'Turgid boredom' was the last thing that anyone was feeling today. Cracking game, and some really good attacking stuff from us. Hope that your nap was worth it.

Just thinking about things, that Rooney clearance off of the line in the first half, brought back memories of when Cantona did the same about 20 years ago at Villa Park against Chelsea I think it was.
Oh, come on. As if anyone's falling for that.

Yes, I was just inquisitive.

I have been honest in what I have said, I watched the highlights (okay I x30 my recording of the match to get to the major incidents of the match, after I had finished watching it live), and when the chance that Rooney headed away came on, my thoughts went back to Cantona at Villa Park.
Both at similar stages in their career with us (one might say), and both getting back to do a job defensively for their team.

If someone else posted something similar on twitter, then so be it, but that was my thoughts when I replayed the match.

I cannot be more honest than that.

Going by lvgs body language end of game u can tell he will b away end of season. If so it would b a good way 2 retire in winning the fa cup.

That's how he came across to me. As if he knows. Giggsy looked a bit the same way too, to me..

But if LVG goes, I would like him to go out on a (relative) high - keeping his record of winning a trophy in every country he's managed in. He will be convinced that his ground work will lead to better things next season, whoever's in charge, and he may even be right.

Cracking game, chances galore, last minute winner - it was like the glory days again!
Martial eh? What a cool finish, he's the real deal!

Anyway whatever happens in the league now we've got something to look forward to next month.

Always nice to be in a final, let's go and win it now!
It is good to be in the final you are correct.....but do we have to win??? I was hoping for a defeat.

Come on bats stop stating the bleeding obvious.

On paper we should beat either palace or Watford. They will be up for this but not as much as United, potentially van gaals last game.

Sorry I ask because I'm 32 also, born in 84 and struggle to remember many specifics of a game from my teens never mind my previous teens.
