Channel 4 today have announced that Bryan Kirkwood has stepped down from his role as executive producer of Hollyoaks, a post he has held since late 2012. Kirkwood, who was previously executive producer on Hollyoaks between 2006—2009. He then returned to the soap after leaving BBC One soap opera EastEnders. Channel 4 released the following statement following his departure:

We can Confirm Johnie Spillane Will be Taking over a New Era , who will bring some more top quality drama to the show.'

Hollyoaks Executive Producer Announces 3 Axings

Today (7th March 2016 ), new Hollyoaks Executive Producer announced 3characters that have been axed from the show. Among them are Nico Blake and Sienna Blake Played By
Persephone Swales-Dawson and Anna Passey respectively. Joining them is. Ben Richards who plays Ben Bradley we can Confirm the door has been left open for them to come Back to the show and we at hollyoaks wish them good luck.

Having been charged for the Gloved Hand murders, Kim remains on remand as she maintains her innocence. DS Thorpe advises Kim that her refusal to cooperate will only weaken her defence when the case goes to trial; reminding Kim that she’s already facing life in prison without parole. DS Thorpe tells Kim that if she stands the slightest chance of ever being released from custody, then she needs to start cooperating. Kim is left with food for thought as she realises that she cannot take the fall for Lindsey’s crimes.Holly is Shocked and left in Thought when she finds out she is Pregnant is it Robbie's or Jason's. After Credits Kim is seen Revaling who the real Glove hand Killer is and is later seen geting into a cab where is she going.

Tony tells Darren about his New plans to Bulid a Cafe in the City Wall Leading to Darren stressing over What he and Maxine did to Patrick. Cindy takes Alfie to his check up after he Reveals to her that he thinks his cancer is Back. Kim returns to the village and is not welcomed by Linsdy. Kim tells Linsdy that if she kills another person she won't be helping her. Charlie is shocked when he finds Linsdy talking to Jade when she is in the Hospital but mistakenly thinks she is injecting her so he calls Nancy and tells her what he has seen Nancy disbelieves her son but will another killing happen. Post credits Holly goes for her Scan with Dirk but is left in shock when the Nurse reveals she is Having Twins.
