I received a phone this week from a seller on Ali Express. It was advertised as being delivered via DHL with no customs guaranteed to the EU. And it worked. I tracked the package on it's trip from Hong Kong and then, seemingly anyway, trip around the UK and German airports. It was then delivered to Gatwick, got another tracking number and set off again on another tour of UK airports. This must have been a method to avoid getting caught. I ordered on Thursday night (early hours in China) and it was delivered, without customs, on Tuesday.

Hello BTSports71,

I was interested in your choice of Cubot H1. This mobile phone would seem to satisfy my needs too and it looks a fairly reasonable price. What are your thoughts on performance and battery life so far?

Thanks.

I have just taken delivery of a Meizu MX4 Pro. It was £138 from Banggood less about £9 in TCB cashback. The spec is literally unbelievable for the money paid.

Needs a bit of work to get it converted to the International Version but that's fine. I'm also fine to take the risk on there effectively being no warranty.

I refer you to post #22.

Please tell me what use band 20 is on Three? I've just got rid of a phone with band 20 and found no use for it.

And no, TiT using band 20 is not a valid answer.

If you can't be bothered to research the benefits of 800MHz and the advantages it offers, especially if the rumoured TiT update allows data access to, and calls over 800MHz then you are probably of the type to be happy in your ignorance and quite content to sit on 1800MHz, so it's pretty pointless trying to educate you in that case.

Enjoy your bargain basement half spec'ed phone.

Just as I thought then. No point in having it. Or if there is you are not the person to enlighten me.

It's been referenced more than once, and the repetition is boring.

Read the forum, ask Mr Google, there's plenty for you to learn ,

Of course we will get it. WE DONT HAVE IT NOW THOUGH SO WHY SHOULD I WORRY ABOUT IT. I will probably have changed phones several times by the time we do, I went through six last year.

Anyway I'm still waiting.

I like the look of the Redmi Note 3, but just can't click the buy button......there is so many choices.

The LG G4 from Vodafone is also on my list.......choices, choices.

I got my wife a G4 and she loves the phone and I had both the G2 and G3 last year and was impressed by them but the G4 is a significant improvement. You will have a much easier time with the G4 and have a UK warranty.
Saying that I prefer the RN3 but the G4 has a better camera and band 20 lte support, which is important if you plan to use on O2 or Vodafone. The battery life on the snapdragon version of the RN3 is addictive though.

You'll be waiting a long time, if you are that lazy that you can't lift a finger to end your own state of ignorance I don't see why anyone else should be bothered with you. With your attitude I presume you are still in school?

I am hoping that the Mi Note Pro 2 follows the Mi5 design and internals as it was the star of MWC for me. And it has band 20 support for those that need it.

Don't worry, one day you might get a job and be able to afford a proper phone. The waiting will be worth it. Just think you could all excited like it was Christmas and buy a decent flagship phone (or even a midrange phone) actually designed for European use.

Have you considered asking your parents if they would help you afford one? Surely something like the Voda Ultra 6 is affordable to even those on a really low income?

You can get a proper phone for around £100, no real need to be handicapped by something not actually fit for purpose just because you are poor.
