Hi all,
I'd like to show presentations from my tablet at work via the data projector. The projector is ceiling mounted and you cant get to it (about 5/6 meters up) and when installed they only brought down a VGA input for a PC to be connected. My tablet has only micro hdmi out. Someone once told me you needed some type of converter, but would these do?

and use normal male to male VGA cable or this?

Any help would be much appreciated. Thx Pete
(PS I appreciate i need micro hdmi to hdmi converter)

The first item you link to should work as its a proper converter. The second item is just a cable and will not work at all - see the feedback!

Although the HDMI to VGA converter you link to should work, it might not be a good solution. You may have problems selecting resolutions and refresh rates. However, it is cheap enough along with a micro HDMI to female HDMI cable.

You would probably need a longish microusb extension cable (female/male) as well.
