Non-dair & fat free yoghurt
Does anyone know of a make of non-dairy yoghurt that isn't soya but that is also fat-free (not low-fat)?
A quick google search hasn't thrown much up beyond what I already know. |

Thanks CC. I'm guessing you like chocolate
![]() I just googled them - they do look yummy but sadly are quite high in saturated fat (coconut tends to be) and I'm after fat free. It seems there's no such thing as fat free plain yoghurt that's dairy free but not soya. Possibly sheep or goat yoghurt but imho they taste vile

But - I don't know if these milks have fat |

Nowt wrong with a chocolate binge every now and then. It's good for the soul if not the waistline.
That's an interesting article. If I wasn't so bone idle I would make my own. I just want to be able to walk into a supermarket (or healthfood shop - I'm not fussy) and buy it off the shelf.

Thank you! I shall continue the search too.
If you love your chocolate and find fighting the cravings is too much, have you tried Cadbury's Freddo bars? I have one of those per day. They're only 25g but I find they're just enough to satisfy me and better than reaching for the normal sized ones. |

Thanks for the tip
![]() On the 9th March had a good look around that night - and I asked 2 staff members I saw the Fage Total 0% Fat Authentic Greek Yogurt - I could not see Soy mentioned in the ingredients but it did contain dairy ![]() Just had an idea ![]() Could your doctor or the dietitian possibly help you with your yoghurt choices / requirements ?? |

Ah thank you CC. Yes I have eaten that one before, and it's lovely but sadly it's dairy so I can't continue eating it.
I went to a health food shop today and was talked into buying a vegan one made with coconuts. Not really what I wanted, and it's definitely not dairy or soya, but I think it's got a fair amount of fat in it. I'm pretty sure what I want doesn't actually exist. The man in the health-food shop was doubtful. |

Alpro almond milk yoghurt.
Not fat free but why do you need it to be? Yoghurt is fairly low in calories anyway. Just cut down on your chocolate consumption instead. Yoghurt with dried blueberries and dried cherries is great if you need something sweet. |

It doesn't have to be fat free, I'd just prefer it if it was.
The Alpro almond yoghurt contains soya, so that's no good either, but thanks anyway. |

I could do that stud, but it's not gonna happen, mainly cos I'm far too lazy.
![]() I didn't know that about Alpro products. Does that include the milk as well as the yoghurts? |

A couple of nights ago - I asked a M&S Manager about the yoghurt that you want to buy
after I had already had a good look at their yoghurt labels She said Waitrose may have what you are wanting as they have extended their ** Free From ** ranges I am not near any Waitrose shops - I have never even seen one good luck

Thanks for all your efforts CC, much appreciated. Sadly I can't bear anything with goat's milk or cheese, so that one's out.
However, my cousin says that the people who do Total yoghurt also do a sheep's yoghurt which is obviously dairy/soya free. She thinks Waitrose might do it. She's not sure about the fat free thing and I think you're right, it's probably going to be impossible to find all three. |
