If ITV hadnt put so much money towards it, it would have been dumped to a graveyard slot long ago, a la The Block.

What chance a 3rd series? Itll only come back if its a celeb version.

I'm not sure it needs celebrities, just a genuine, interesting head chef with more interest and focus on the cooking rather than this ready steady cook format with helpers

More interesting than JC?

Never been so interested in a chef in my life!

It would help if the contestants actually wanted to be chefs rather than trying for a career in television. They should state at auditions that glamour girls, failed actors and tv presenters need not apply.

Kellie, Terry and Gary already work in the catering industry and do seem to be interested in improving.

I think the format has still got life in it, but ITV didn't seem very committed to it - very little live, crap web site; doing a celeb version for Children in Need sounds like a winner.

That set must have cost a fortune to create.I expect that it will be used again.

No, it's a set. Designed (funnily enough) by a set designer!
The same set designer who does Big Brother.
