Managed to get 50% off and a £50 credit earlier this month on Family plus sport (no HD). Yesterday got movies for £4.50 and HD for £3 with no contract. Movie deal is for 12 months HD for 6 but was told to call and re-negotiate. No deal on multi-room but my son pays me for that so no gain anyway.

Update - did a live chat with a representative today - was offered the full package, multiroom, sky talk and an upgrade to Fibre Unlimited for £84.40. I asked if they could go lower on that to below £80 and they wouldn't budge. So, I declined and will try again. Hopefully I can get it down yet.

Did another live chat and got the deal I want. 50% off everything for 12 months (full package, multiroom, Sky Talk) and an upgrade to Sky Fibre Unlimited with that also being 50% off. New monthly bill is £76 basically, which I'd imagine I could have got down a bit more, but I'm happy with that considering I've just upgraded from Sky Broadband Unlimited to Fibre Unlimited and my bill has gone down. Earlier on today the offer was at £84, am happy to just have it sorted now.

I phoned and cancelled my Sky package (original + sports) eleven days ago - I'd had a 10 months' half price offer that was just about to run out. Since making that call, the interactive offer on my Sky box has only been offering 35% off my current package for another 12 months, which I wasn't too fussed about. But today a letter came from Sky offering 50% off any package for the next 12 months. Good enough for me.

Further to the above, have just done an online chat with Sky and was offered the 50% off any package for the next 12 months (on a rolling contract) plus £50 credit on my account. So that's Original + Sports for £20.84 per month. Even better than I was expecting!

Ignore that above - I thought the original bundle was the family bundle or whatever it's called. My mistake.

Advice please... Everybody seems to mention better offers on Sky Service app? Where exactly as all it does is direct me to the Sky Service website.
Following the recent price hikes we downgraded our Sky to the basic bundle plus line rental. Got a very small discount on that. However we are now paying broadband charges (so discount gone) as apparently way back when we got Sky Sports there was a clause that says free broadband contingent on Sky Sports sub. Not made clear when we downgraded. Added complication is that we have a houseguest for next month who is sports mad. So now we want to re-add Sky Sports for a month or so. On my Sky Offers there is a deal for Sky Sports 25% off with no contract period. Do you think we can get better? Had 2 calls with Sky - have been really unhelpful & arrogant and won't give us any offers! (Have not mentioned the offer above)! |

If you have a resubscription offer on the Sky Services app, it'll be the first thing you see after you enter your pin.
Funnily enough, I 'cancelled' on Monday and the app offer was lower than the offer on the Sky website (35% against 50%) |

My Sky TV turned off overnight, the best offer I had to stay was 35% on the app (now gone), on the website under offers it always said Unable to Proceed.

To be fair, out of the past 3 years I had 12 months free and then 24 months at 50% so I wasn't expecting anything amazing - the main thing is that I've now got half price Fibre Unlimited and that's miles more important to me than the TV, which was always just a nice added bonus. We'll see what happens... |

Under my sky on the web do you check my offers section all I can see is sports, movies and multiscreen all half price. On interactive I have a 35% offer and on the app 50% offer but nothing on the web. Am I right to simply click on my offers on the Sky website?
I saw the 50% offer on my app, which I was happy about and just did Live Chat with the win back team and the applied the offer. |

When people are ending their subscriptions, is Sky killing the box (Sky+ recording) or leaving it active?
I ask because I heard some people get told they're getting 6 months of access to the free channels (Inc recording and playback). Personally I think they should keep giving free recording access at no cost, as people could then keep the box and become tempted to re-subscribe. As against having a dead box that goes in a cupboard and replaced with a Freeview/Freesat recorder. |

There is certainly no broad policy to let people keep Sky+ recording capabilities without a subscription.
