I'm currently on a Sky Friends and Family deal.
All TV channels, HD, broadband and line rental for £41 a month. This is coming to an end in September so definitely going to cancel before it rises to £100+ a month (which is unsustainable for me). Fingers crossed for a deal. |

If it sounds so cheap to you, why did you need to break it down to a daily charge? Wouldn't saying 'just £1277.50 a year*' be just as good.
* I just multiplied your figure by 365, so obviously it isn't spot on as you were obviously rounding up or down. I paid £177 for broadband this year (sorry, 48p a day), including line rental. That seems, to me, to make the TV side of things rather expensive. Hence why I now have Now TV. No UHD and no BT Sport, mind. |

Most likey is that Sky are pulling back on the discounts as the Footy season comes around and were happy to offer 60% and £100 cash back to stop people like me cancelling their Sky when the footy season ended, Maybe in future try to cancel as the Season ends ? , just a thought |

I have 3 multirooms and they would only offer 35% off one of the multirooms , but as I got 60% off my Tv package and £100 credit to my account I accepted that

Called up today to find out what they could offer me as existing 60% off deal expires on 4th August, Was offered 40% off full package but no cash so would expect to end up at around 50/60% again come closer to cut off date.
I want Q though but they wouldn't shift off £60 install and £80 month for silver+mini movies/sports package. See what next week brings. Within 2mins went on to the sky service App and already an offer of 50% off sitting waiting. Next plan is to hit live chat but i only want half price on sports and movies

The 50% off appeared in My Sky straight away but I left it a couple of weeks and then got in touch on the online chat and asked about Sky Q. Said there were no deals on that but would do me 50% off plus £50 bill credit and it would only be a rolling 1 month contract. So I said thanks very much, I'll take that! ![]() Good look with your package. |

Sorting my parents out today, cancelled on Monday, Sky app immediately showed 35% off.
Got a phone call this evening and was offered 50% off TV package for 12 months plus £50 credit on their next bill. My next target is Sky Talk and Fibre broadband. They are currently paying £37.40. BT are currently offering Infinity Unlimited for £29.98 with free BT Sport so will use that as a haggling point! Then I might do an invite a friend, get Sky TV myself and bag a £125 reward each! |

As for my Sky TV, I took 20% off for ten months with a new 12 month contract. I was offered it after being in my first contract with Sky for just eight months so I figured it would be rude not to. |

My notice has been on the account for a week now so thought i'd give a call and see what else they could do. They're still offering nothing more than 35% off the TV package only for 12 months or 50% off TV package only for 10 months. No discounts on the two multiroom boxers or any credits. Needless to say that offer was turned down so we'll try again in a week.

Maybe they've found out about this thread and decided to scrap the 60% discount offer.

Weren't budging on any offers for Sky Q so took 50% off for 10 months. Will probably upgrade to Sky Q before then anyway.

I've just signed up for this deal via quidco with £110 cashback. It may be worthwhile mentioning that to Sky as they're known for rich offers.

Was looking to add Sky Cinema to my package, last week it was showing as £3.75 a month to add it, this week its showing that it will cost £43.55 extra a month to add it and that is half price for 3 months, don't think i will bother.

Well considering the fact I was only in my first contract I didn't think it was too bad of an offer. Once this contract is up I will be looking for more.

Is there any reason why Sky Cinema has gone up in price? |

I just looked to upgrading to Sky Cinema and it was an extra £24.20 for 3 months, it didn't say how much it would be after but that's gone up in price, infact it's cheaper for me to Sky Sports at £16.50!!
Is there any reason why Sky Cinema has gone up in price? The only thing i can think of is that i am on a 60% discount for 12 months and that taking sky cinema will cancel that. |

Spoke to someone on their facebook page about it, they said the sky cinema pack is only £18 so they have no idea why it was showing that much, i even sent them a screenshot of it as well.
