Did you tell them you want to cancel your contract now or when your contract expires? Call them up and ask to speak to the cancellations team. Tell them you want to give notice to cancel when your contract expires. Don't tell them you want to cancel your contract now.

What date do you pay your bill on? As every subscriber to Sky pays for their service a month in advance they cannot just cancel your service, that is why its a statutory 31 days notice to turn off your service.

ok. And did he accept that? If he did just wait and see what offer appears on your account on the sky.com website in a few days. You can always speak to them on Live Chat in a few days to see what they offer you.

Yes he says he will put it to be canceled on 3rd October but it will take several minutes to do as he already cancelled it. So I accept that and then wait? God I'm cacking it lol. I love my sky tv.

Just now on live chat. I said I wanted to cancel, he offered 20% I said no so he cancelled and said it will go off tomorrow or maybe midnight!

It can't be cut off tomorrow as you have paid in advance so you still have another months service. Call cancellations and speak to them because those Live Chat guys in India don't have a clue what they are talking about most of the time.

Yes because those guys in India are rubbish on Live Chat. If it's going off on 3rd October than that gives you almost a month to get a better deal.

You said this morning you accepted an offer, and was in the cooling off period, so i presumed you had cancelled previously to get that deal

Where will I see offers and how long do they take to come in? I see the offers section in sky but it's just the usual offers for new customers or to sign up a friend. Will an offer pop up in that section?

A few days ago and the letter came today. I didn't cancel I had a letter through to stay with sky and get 15% off so I did that.
All canceled for 3rd October. Finished chat. This is the first time I've ever cancelled my sky tv ever. Hoping for a half decent offer.
I agreed originally without cancelleing but staying in contract for another 12 months to £3 off multiscreen and £5.70 off sky tv.

As soon as you log into your account, it should have a message with an offer on the main screen (it will not be in the offers section).
You can try it online with MySky, through the phone Sky Service App, and on your box (as all 3 often have different offers on them), and usually shows up instantly.
To check you have cancelled properly, look at bills, and future bills, which should show a final bill in there, to prove the cancellation has gone trough.

Checked it through the tv like you said and it tells me it's coming to an end on 8th October and to press blue for my exclusive offer which is 60% off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
