There is a half price box set offer is that it? That was there before.
No. It won't be there for a few days or next week probably. It will appear on the home page once you log into your account. A big square box which says '50% off for 12 months" or '60% off for 12 months' if you wait even longer.

You agreed originally? When was this?

Like 2 days ago. I had a letter through giving me an offer of 15% off if I stayed for another 12 months. So as my previous offer had ended I phoned up and took it. I asked loads but they said they don't do offers better than that anymore so I took it. Then the letter confirming that came today. But I had been reading this thread so went on chat and cancelled.

Did you see my previous post? I checked it through the tv just now. It had a countdown timer and told me when it was ending and said press blue for my exclusive offer and it was 60% off. I've taken that.

I think you are very lucky they didn't say you had to stay with them now as you accepted their offer 2 days ago. I guess you are ok because I think you have 14 days cooling off period.

There was a 31 day cooling off period. That's why I could do it.

You got 60% off already? Did they offer any cash credit?

Hi Pal, I clicked on the come back to sky live chat when I logged in. It was the third advisor who offered the best deal. So if the first person you speak too doesn't offer you what you'd like, close and try again. Let me know how you get on. I do believe the offer of 60 percent on a rolling contract for existing is probably the best but you never know!
Thanks man! Just got same deal - 60% off, 50 credit and no contract through Sky Chat

Yeah it was on my tv but not online. No cash but I'm happy with that tbh.

If you hang on a bit longer closer to your cut off date you might get £100 credit.

Oh well, still a pretty good deal - no new contract was key for me

I cancelled sky not intending to renew. It`s been cut off about 3 weeks now and various offers have come in . Online on my sky -left in the last 12 months they have offered 60% and 75 pounds credit which is tempting. The thing is i do live abroad and i`ve got an old standard sky box. This offer seems to be for sky +. Would i still receive the programmes if i didn`t upgrade the box and dish?

im on sky chat, i have 60% off in my account, they have just offered me 60% and £100 credit , box sets and sports in HD on chat.

Tried to push for 70% and £100 credit but they wouldnt move.

I still said no, cant accept that when they are doing £35 for sky Q sport and movies in 4k.

Do you still have service with Sky now or has your service terminated?

Sky just rang me, with a 60%off and no cash credit so i said no. I don't think they will call again.

Maybe I should wait until my service is terminated in a couple of weeks. All I'm getting is £50 credit so far with the 60%.

Depends how much you value having your Sky service against having an extra £50

I'll take whatever I can get after being overcharged for 10 years. Do you lose your recordings when your service is terminated or are they still there once it's activated again?

They'll still be playable when you re-subscribe.

I phoned up yesterday and was offered £80 a month for Sports HD, Box sets and Broadband.

Think it's a bit steep so I'm going to phone up and give my 31 days notice later today and hopefully receive a better offer.

What is the regular price for all that?

Cancellation is on Tuesday and I had decided to go ahead with it but was hoping to keep the sky plus recording function. But I really wanted to keep my main box and second box active but assumed this would cost £10 per box. I thought I may be able to keep the main box going.

Today I received an offer letter to keep the Sky plus features for a year if I keep broadband and line rental going. I phoned up and couldnt believe that this offer is for both boxes to retain the sky plus features. So thats me sorted for now. Two free to air sky boxes with sky plus recording AND access to all the five main channels catch up services.
