Can't believe how stingy sky are when it comes to boxes. I have only ever had one. On and the man was so against me getting a new one.
I would go virgin for tv but I've heard their TiVo boxes are horrible and slow, so I don't want to go there lol!

I'm sure CPW will do deals for just TV with a Sky Q box. Or maybe speak to someone at Sky in the win back team and they may offer you a new box.

I resubscribed today been away for 2 years, i have got SKY SPORTS HD and Box Sets bundle with 60% off for 12 months and £100 credit on my account for £28.50p a month. i am happy with that.

No i dont have skyq i have no use for it, SKY+hd is what i have, but dont forget i have been away for 2 years, so sky want you back as a subscriber if you have been away that long. give them a ring you just never know they are doing 60% and £100 credit so its worth a call.

Sky do not repair boxes, if it is faulty, they will replace it, it might be a refurb box rather than a brand new box, but they won't sit there and try and fix it.

You can go on E.bay 100s of 2tb sky+ hd boxes on offer.

Sky are currently doing 60% deals on Sky TV only. Generally you need to cancel, wait until the 31 days is over and your channels have gone off, then log on to your mysky account to find the offer.

That 60% offer is there even before the 31 days. Usually 2 weeks after you've given notice to quit.

No you can start as a new customer under a different name. But if you want to start a new contract under the same name you will have to wait 60 days.
