You have to call them on 08007812981 or go into a store and ask about the £16.31 a month deal.

So, following on from the tips I have picked up from this forum. I have now cancelled my Sky package via live chat (the most they could offer over the phone was 20% off for 10 months).

No offers on the My Sky website yet but have got the 50% off TV package for a year when I open the app. It says the offer is valid until 29 September. Is it likely that after this date, the offer will change to the 60% off for 12 months as my expiry period draws closer?

Cheers

I left Sky about 6 months ago, had a leaflet arrive in the post today with the heading "There is still time to come back with 60% off Sky TV for 12 months plus £75 Credit" - Offer ends 29th September.

I've no intention of ever "going back", since there is nothing I watch that I can't see on freeview, but it does show that they are still offering deals if you leave and wait it out.

Is there a number to call to accept that offer?

We cancelled about 6 weeks ago. Sky called today and offered 50% off. I knew about the better offers and asked for more. Best offer was 60% off and £100 credit which we accepted.

Did you have to pay £30 installation for each box?

I guess they are treating you as a new customer if you have been away for quite a while.

Just had an E mail offer to come back for £5 per month for 12 months with no contract. This is two weeks after cut off date. This is for original bundle. Sounds great unless you want HD and multiroom. The another £24 to add. I am using Now tv for Sky programmes which has better PQ than SD on the Sky box plus have two boxes with free sky plus functions. So its cheaper to stick with that.

Now TV's Entertainment Pass costs £6.99 per month or 8.11 euros today

The Sky Ireland Agent is hyping up the 3pm live games from the Eng Prem League, Live Pro-12, Live Golf and Sky Cinema to justify the hike in prices here in Ireland.

Thanks for your post!

EverythingGood is right! We have more Premier League games than ever before, including the Saturday 3pm kick-offs which are inclusive to ROI. We are also showing rugby from the Pro12 and we have every golf major and the Ryder Cup, which is starting this evening!

Along with this, we have recently rebranded the movie subscription as Sky Cinema where you get a new premier everyday! There are also hundreds of movies available within the On Demand section which is continuously growing.

As with all things related to Sky, Now TV is also heavily discounted if you spend a few minutes looking.

I'm currently paying £3.33 per month for 6 months for 11 Sky channels plus boxsets in glorious HD (720p)

I brought two boxes for £19.99 each which includes 6 months subscription

Unless you go by the name of Aurichie there really is never an excuse to pay full price!
